Q: Please describe what is the "frame work" of the box made of (i.e. the paper company design is a fabric that covers plastic or heavy duty cardboard or wood)? Thanks in advance

A: It's fabric that covers cardboard. It seems fairly sturdy but I wouldn't plan on putting anything heavy in it or on it.

These boxes are of good quality and durability, but they arrived damaged due to inadequate packaging. It’s possible that the recent snowstorm in Missouri contributed to their poor condition, as the box appeared quite battered upon arrival. Although the boxes are functional, they could have been more visually appealing if they had been packed properly. I am keeping them because none of the surrounding stores in my area have more.

I ordered all three sizes - twice - because I love Rifle Paper and this pattern. Both orders - all three boxes came damaged. The tops don't fit correctly, corners broken, cardboard is warped. Would skip this one - I hate to say it!

If you are at all on the fence about these – do not buy! There is only a 14 day return window from the date you order them. No matter how long it takes for them to be delivered. Target is usually so great with their 90 day return period that I would never have expected this.

Love this hydrangea storage box! I use it to store my wedding mementos and it’s the perfect pattern and size for it. I keep it displayed on my bookshelf because it’s a really pretty box! I wouldn’t recommend setting anything super heavy on top since the lid feels like it could get crushed, but it is very solid and high quality at this price point.
