When I read a new author, I never know what to expect. And even though this is my first Jackie Stef book, it won't be the last. The author has done an exceptional job with Grace and Aaron's story. Yes, they had a rough start, but as they got to know each other, things began to change. Grace was not my favorite from the get-go, but as I got to know her, I came to understand and appreciate her. Aaron, on the other hand, grabbed my heart from the start. The author's descriptive writing had me feeling what the characters felt. Despite experiencing times of difficulty, joy, faith, and love, the wonderful friendship and growing relationship served as the ultimate highlight. This combination resulted in a sweet and inspirational story that greatly touched my heart. Book Quote: "...When we've been hurt, our first instinct is to not allow the hurt to happen again..." "But as followers of Gott, we have to choose to give Him our pain rather than to hang onto it."

Jackie Stef is a new author to me and I absolutely loved reading her book! If you love reading Amish fiction you are going to love reading Risking Her Amish Heart! I loved reading this sweet story about Grace and Aaron! I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.
