I was initially excited about this clock until it arrived and I noticed the gold finish wasn't the bright, polished gold depicted on Target's website. It's more of a semi-gloss gold. I was expecting a shiny polish. Also, given the price, I was disappointed to find that the middle of the clock is nothing but cardboard. I might consider returning it.
