Description
Robert Mondavi Private Selection Pinot Noir Red Wine is medium-bodied with soft tannins and a lingering finish, making it an elegant offering for dinner parties. Fresh flavors of rose petals, strawberry, vibrant cherry and fresh raspberry abound in this pinot noir wine, while hints of Asian spice, sweet tobacco and Madagascar vanilla bean underscore aromas of ripe red cherries and violets. This Robert Mondavi wine is crafted with fruit from California's Central Coast vineyards, where slow ripening in the cool climate by the Pacific Ocean encourages complexity and depth of flavor. The phenomenal grapes produced in the region ultimately create Central Coast wine of the utmost quality, offered by Robert Mondavi Private Selection at a more accessible price. Pair this red table wine with roast meat, poultry or seafood, or serve it at an elegant wine and cheese event. Store this bottle of wine at room temperature, but refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes before serving at around 60 degrees for optimal taste. Just tried for the first time. I don’t know my wine terminology that well, but it was a smooth drink for someone who doesn’t like a wine that’s too sweet or too dry. I also didn’t find it gave me a headache, which I’ve found some wines have (I think if high in tannins) after just one glass.

I tried this Pinot Noir because my usual choice house wine was out. I like the pretty purplish color of it but it's a bit thin for my taste. It seems watered down and not full bodied. The flavor isn't bad it's just light but that could make it go well with just about anything.

Pinot Noir is one of my favourite wines and Robert Mondavi has really brought this blend together beautifully, it’s a dry medium wine with hints of berries a must try for girls night or a elegant gift for a friend or coworker.

A sweet dry taste. I brought this to a gathering and it was the first empty bottle. Enjoyed this with a pasta dish.

Excellent wine from this vineyard and especially at this price point. If all you have is a grocery store around with no stores offering an extensive wine selection, then this is a good go to brand that is dependable and reliable.

My favorite Pinot noir brand. I have tried others, but I feel that they always fall short. This is not the most expensive, nor the least… but simply my favorite.
I really enjoy this

I really enjoy this wine! It’s decent price for a good quality wine. I will reach for this over many other wines found at the grocery store.

This is my go to red when having a couple glasses with friends, or at dinner especially in the winter. It is not super dry and has a good flavor.

Normally I wouldn't take the time to review a wine, but this is honestly one of the worst I've ever drunk. On the first sip it has a sharp acidity or tannin (I can't tell which, but it's very unpleasant). After that unpleasantness dissipates, the flavor is flat. I enjoyed the Private Selection Cabernet Sauvignon so thought I'd try this, but man was that a waste of nine bucks! Don't waste your money on this swill!
