This is not the Little Golden Book I recall from my own childhood, but I have no doubt it will be enjoyed by our grandchild. The illustrations are adorable.

Bought this for my son's 3rd birthday since right now he is obsessed with robots, the hard cover is more like hard cardboard, seems very sturdy but its not like all the other hard cover books he has, this is my first "Golden Book" (I am Mexican, living in Mexico, we don't have Golden Books here, that I know of) but I'm guessing all of the covers are just like this one, the illustrations are beautiful and the book shows just how we are surrounded by robots in the daily life, now my son acts like he is not afraid of the noise the coffee grinder makes because he says its just a little robot, I am very happy I found this little book for him.
