About RockDove: We're a small team based in Santa Monica, California devoted to the craft of slipper-making. Purchased the dark gray/pink RockDove Women's Two-Tone Hoodback Slipper with Removable Insole in size 10. Will fit a more narrow sized 10.5 women's foot which I am. LOVE THESE SLIPPERS! And they have a removable insole w/arch support which make it very comfortable. I'm going to order 1 more pair while on sale - also, RockDove company is in Santa Monica CA and are conscientious about a safe environment and fair wages for their workers! These are the best slippers I ever had and can walk outdoors with them as well!

I really want to love these. There are so many good things about them. They are comfy but sturdy enough to wear outside. I love the eggplant color, it’s beautiful. I love the look of them in general. However, unfortunately it feels like one of them is always on the wrong foot. It’s not, but it feels like it. The sole is fine, and shaped the right way, but the top of the slipper for some reason seems like it was made for the other foot. I keep thinking if I wear it in more it will mold to my foot, but it’s been a week and a half and so far it’s not budging. It just makes it uncomfortable to wear.

I really like how cute, cozy, and comfortable these slippers are. I find that they are also sturdy and supportive enough to wear all day long, not just sitting at a laptop but buzzing around and making many trips up and down stairs, etc. I packed them on a recent trip and even wore them to the hotel’s breakfast lounge. I especially love that my feet don’t get too warm or sweaty when I wear these, even with the recent mild weather. Machine washable is one of my “must haves” and reason for choosing these slippers. I have not washed these yet but if all goes well, I will quickly order a 2nd pair for backup!

These slippers are very narrow. I'm A-AA and they are fine for me. Very tight at first, but after 3 days they have stretched a little. BUT the memory foam padding is ONLY in the heel and instep, not under the ball of the foot. (Why? That is where it is most needed!) This makes a slight rise in the heel that shifts your toes up against the front. Hopefully it will continue to loosen up. Also, the sole weirdly protrudes in the back about 3/4 of an inch behind your heel. Be careful walking down stairs until you get used to this.
