The rug is beautiful and soft, but sheds more than my cats. I got 3 canisters full of fiber on the first vacuum and probably would have gotten more if I continued. Also I’ve noted fibers tracked all through the house. It’s a shame because I really like it, but if it doesn’t stop shedding I will have to consider getting a different one. Fingers crossed it is just the initial and expected part of its usage.

This rug is made of wool. Wool rugs typically shed a lot with the first few vacuums and then don't shed after. Please make sure the vacuum is not directly touching the pile.
