A: Yes, There is a plastic backing on the film that you will need to take off. Add some water to the window or film and apply it. When you are ready to take if off, just pull it off.

Installation does take some work, but not too difficult. It looks nice and will be easy to remove if needed in the future. It does block slightly more light than I was hoping, but it definitely adds the privacy that is much needed for our guest bathroom!

I purchased a new section for my garage door and love all the light, but not that anyone could look in and see everything inside my garage. Purchased this window film and in less than an hour the problem was solved. I personally find that measuring carefully and cutting the film to the exact size to start with is much easier than trying to trim it once it's applied. That way you wet the glass and the film sucks right on in place. Just takes a few strokes of a soft towel and all the bubbles are gone.

I ordered two rolls of this and cut them down with a utility knife to fit the panes of my French doors. It took forever but I am super pleased with the result, and the application of each individual pane was really easy! (In this photo only the right door is finished.) I recommend cutting before you attach to the window, not after as the directions confusingly suggest. I wet the windows completely with Windex and scraped out the bubbles with a plastic putty knife (you definitely want to press hard to get rid of all those bubbles). For the price, I can’t recommend this highly enough.

The film is a lot thicker than I imagined, which makes it very easy to put up. I cut it and used it on several windows. It goes on and comes off easily.

I've never tried this type of product before but was tired of the old lace curtains in my window entryway. I received this and was pleasantly surprised at how easy as well as how pretty these films are. I was able to do this on my own without any assistance and it was relatively quick to do. My family commented that it looks like we got new windows. It also makes our entryway seem larger and brighter.

We definitely used spray and eventually succeeded in scraping out all the bubbles. This is the second set of this type of item we bought; we used a scraping device for removing bubbles with a razor on the corner for cutting we received from the first set, which helped a lot--this one should come with that. With this one we just did 2 small basement windows. Allows in light but still gives total privacy for our hot tub room. You do have to be careful with cutting exactly where you want it. Too short leaves a gap; too long won't let it lie flat, and you'll end up with a bubbled, peeling area.

This item is awesome - I can't put a phone screen protector on to save my life, so I figured I would fail miserably in this. MUCH easier to work with than I thought it would be. Key tip - make sure to use a sprayer to moisten the window before applying. The instructions tell you to, but I didn't appreciate how much easier it is with a reasonable amount of moisture on the glass. I had to apply more in a couple of places where I skimped.

Gave just enough privacy that I needed without taking away the natural light that I love.
As I just applied it onto my Windows I'm hoping it will last for ever without falling.
Clean your Windows first, and do not spray the window before applying film, as it is indicated on instruction, cause it makes it to slippery to apply and won't stick.
