Q: I have 3 mirrored doors, 1/4" wider than 2 rolls. Are the rolls "exactly" 20.5", or is there an allowance? I know the repeat is 20.5. Do most people match with the faux grass pattern, or will it look good even if the 20.5" repeat is not perfect?

A: Hello Robin, Thank you for your question on our peel and stick wallpaper. Our products do run very true to the 20.5" width so you wouldn't get a larger variance. We would suggest matching with the same pattern that you selected and while one roll extra might feel like alot to cover a small piece, you may find that once you hang it, the extra roll helps add some security, especially if this is one of the first times you have hung wallpaper. A: Hello - Thank you for your question. A quick way is to take the square foot of your room divided by 21 (in this specific case) to account for the pattern repeat. Keep in mind, if the pattern repeat is 13 inches or greater, you divide your total square footage by 21. If the pattern repeat is 12 inches or less, you divide your total square footage by 25. In this case, your repeat is 20.5 so you would divide your total square feet by 21. Thanks! The RoomMates Team

Q: Is the color more on the brown or tan side? Is there a lot of waste with matching up pattern or is matching up not necessary? Can you see the individual rows of paper on the wall or do they blend in well to not look so separate?

Granted this is peel and stick wallpaper but I was expecting something a bit better from York. This grass cloth wallpaper looked as if someone took a photo and copied it onto peel and stick plain wallpaper. Pretty awful. I would never hang this product.

I purchased 3 rolls of this paper in the summer of 2023 for my bathroom. The result is magnificent and the quality of the product is excellent. In January 2024, I purchased 3 more rolls of this paint paper for the master bedroom. Unfortunately, this time the result was catastrophic. The quality of the paper is no longer the same. The paper doesn't stick well and there are air bubbles everywhere. I am very disappointed with the result, I wasted a lot of time and a lot of money. I would like to be reimbursed but it's difficult when the paper is already cut! Can you assume your responsibilities by offering me a solution or compensation? This is not the first time I have purchased your products but this time could well be the last!

I put this on my accent wall in my daughter’s new room and it looks horrific. The colors do not match even after purchasing five rolls manufactured on the same day and purchased at the same time. I am out the money spent on the wallpaper and the labor to install it. This wallpaper needs to be removed from the website.

One of the thinnest peel and sticks i have ever tried to work with- and I use them a lot. I was covering dresser drawers and no matter how slow and careful i was- using a smoothing tool as i went- I ended up with a completely bubbled surface- way too many to pop and smooth. Loved the print, but really disappointed in the product.

This wallpaper was quite easy for me to put up. There is a pearl like sheen which I love because it matches my kitchen counter and cabinets absolutely beautifully. I used this to line the back of my glass cabinets. I also like the fact that it appears like a grass city burlap look, yet easily wipeable, unlike the actual grass cloth/burlap type of material. Only drawback is amount of roll for the price seems costly.

One roll should have been enough to finish the small kitchenette wall I wanted to cover but the paper kept getting stuck together and then would tear when I pulled it apart. I went back to the store to buy a second roll, I would have bought more but they only had one in stock. I had more trouble with the second roll than the first and wasted more of the paper from it tearing again. So far I've gone through two rolls and it looks like I'm going to need two more to complete the original project. It's kind of a gimmick if you keep having to buy more. And it's obvious when you have more than one roll next to another, the colors don't match exactly.

THRILLED w this particular RoomMate product!!! Stuck sooo well to a slightly textured wall in Master Bath & I tested it for months of steamy showers…doesn’t budge or shift!!! My textured wall shows thru just a bit but the grasscloth textured look compliments it! Easy & so forgiving to work with if any patch repairs. BEWARE that ssme dye lot # is a plus!!! The tolls can vary even fm side to side but if u get same dyelots, roll thrm out side by side to see any minor OR major differences. U can see the seams on some of my walls but even real grasscloth does that (and real stuff is soooo expensive & not WASHABLE!). I wd ask the company to put grid marks on backing paper to make cutting & hanging plumb easier! With arrows to distinguish tops vs bottom of rolls. Easy to get confused with small pieces. Even tho I hung w all repeats matched up…u can cheat slightly w this style!!! Make sure rolls are sticky & not yellowed!!! Old rolls of peel & stick start bto lose their adhesion. Very easy to pull off over & over without compromising wall or paper stickyness!!! 5 stars!!!! If u use a lighter color, best to skim coat out the lumps bumps of a textured wall. But So far 3 months of love & saved $ doing myself!!!

I was looking for grasscloth textured, matte wallpaper. What I received was not at all textured and had almost a pearlescent finish. The print seemed rather blurry, not at all detailed, as pictured. Target chat assisted me and advised returning the item would be no problem, so for that I was thankful.

I used 4 rolls on a 8'H x 7'W accent wall. The color in each roll is totally different (some rolls are darker, while other rolls are lighter). It has nothing to do with the lighting. When I compared samples from each roll in various lighting (outside, inside, evening, daylight, etc) it was obvious. I lined up the pattern exactly & it still looks inconsistent. The 'repeat pattern' doesn't line up & the color variations in each roll clearly show the seems. I've attached pictures as examples.

Target needs to update the product description to say this tan faux grasscloth has a very pronounced, ALL OVER GOLDEN METALLIC finish. It's not a subtle "sheen." I've purchased other colors from this line and they aren't metallic at all. Check the photo on Roommates' own website- they warn this color is metallic. Very frustrating to trust Target's ad and receive something totally different than described! Now I have to waste time returning this and delay my project until I receive the correct product ordered directly from Roommates.

I use a small alcove as a spot in my place to make my video business calls. I wanted something that would make it look professional and would look after a lot of thought I chose this wallpaper and I am so glad I did! I put it up with a friend in 2 hours and it looks amazing! Easiest DIY ever!

I installed Faux Grasscloth in black in my bathroom and it looks wonderful - very much like the real thing without the maintenance/upkeep/room considerations of actual grasscloth. It was easy to apply but I did have a few issues with corners peeling down - that definitely could have been my fault though as I'm not sure I prepped the wall adequately enough. Overall, this is a great product!

Relatively easy to apply to walls but unlike traditional paste wall paper this product does not move its static to the touch. So for tricky areas you need to correctly measure and cut piece.
