Rsvp Onion Goggles - Tortoise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I thought these googles were just another gimmick but my eyes say otherwise. I cut onions several times a week and although I've done well without eye protection over the years, now I'm wondering why I did that. These goggles do a great job of keeping me tear free and they fit quite comfortably on my face. I would definitely recommend wearing these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These googles worked ok, for me not sure if it was my nose shape but they didn't give me the coverage I expected. Did help out by giving me most coverage but I still didn't get full protection. Seems like they will work with someone with smaller nose. My bridge is a bit big so maybe that affected the performance of product. Over all they seem well made have cushion and felt rather comfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So these are an awesome idea! They have plenty of padding and fit ok to my face. I hate cutting onions because my eyes water so much. It is so nice not to feel those itchy watery eyes. I will use onions a lot more in my cooking now. They are simple to use and take very little effort to wear. I just need to remember to use them!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These onion goggles are soft, padded, and comfortable. They go on like glasses and work well at protecting my eyes from onion enzymes. There is a P65 warning on the box though. The unisex design makes it easy for everyone in my home to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These would work better if they fit snug to my face. They are too big and slip off. They won’t stay against my face, and when I look down they slip off enough to let the onion juices into my eyes and sting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have issues with onions and shallots. A few minutes into chopping I have tears streaming down my face stinging and burning. I can barely see….well no more! These glasses/goggles protected my eyes and allowed me to chop the entire onion without a tear or burning eyes! They fit nicely around my head and don’t slide. Easy to see out of when chopping (I don’t wear glasses or need readers). I could tell they were doing the job when I took them off after chopping and started to feel the burn. Great product!

These goggles were the perfect solution, it works pretty well for the most part but my eyes still get still get a little watery if I'm cuttings for a while and its definitely better than no eyewear at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Onion Goggles got rid of the tears I used to shed while I chopped, minced, diced, and sliced onions. They also worked great while frying foods because you never know when oil is going to pop while cooking. The foam adds an extra layer of protection and makes the Onion goggles even more comfortable. I also like how the goggles have anti-fog lenses which helps keep them crystal clear while sweating doing yard work.

Cutting onions is such a nightmare, I've tried biting bread, and sticking my head in the freezer, but these goggles are the only thing that have actually worked. They are comfortable and the padding around the eyes is snug but gentle and does the trick!

I was really skeptical and didn't think they would work, but figured I would try them anyway. I am so glad I did. These really worked great. I didn't cry a single cry while wearing them. I even put the onion up to my nose and still didn't cry. I really love the extra padding they put on them. This makes them very comfortable to wear. I also love how these googles are one size fits all. They fit well on me and my kids. I love these goggles and would highly recommend them.

Today, I chopped up three large onions that I know would have put me out (I still get a slight response in my nose), but did it in one session. The goggles are great. One criticism is that they can't be used over conventional glasses, however I used them UNDER my 'reading glasses'. The goggles fit close to the face, so for those with 'less than perfect eyesight', the necessary glasses can be worn over these goggles. This may not be a pretty sight, but it does work, and at least in my case I'm not a pretty sight anyway. My concern is chopping onions (for a few minutes), and these goggles work superbly with the inelegant addition of my reading glasses over the top.

I’ve tried wearing sunglasses to no avail. I’m happy to report my last few onions have produced zero tears thanks to these goggles! Beyond happy!

Down here in New Orleans our cuisine requires large amounts of onions for that great Southern Flavor we love and these onion goggles saved the day! No more watery or burning eyes as you mince your onions! Wow! What a difference when wearing these! Perfect eye sight and no burning eyes! Curved fit and Comfortable to wear and don't fog up either! I also wear these for those great Smoky BBQ's we all enjoy down here and protects your eyes! FIVE STARS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was kind of skeptical of these. But, they actually really do work, they have like a foam rim around your eyes inside the glasses that protect your eyes from the onion. Nifty things they are. My kids thought they looked silly but hey, no tears.

Doubtful. But once I tried these onion goggles all my doubt was cast aside! These goggles really work!!! I have used them several times and my eyes haven’t watered the first time! I would definitely recommend these onion goggles to anyone looking for a great pair of goggles that are sturdy and keep your eyes from watering when cutting onions.

If you cook a lot , like I do myself, and put onions in almost everything, these will save your eyes! They look pretty silly but they work great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This goggle works, but I think the fit is awkward. I think the sizes may work for some and not others. For me, it was a snug fit. The materials are durable and well made. It is easy to clean and wipe any debris off of it. I wear it while chopping onions and cooking when I know I have to fry something with a lot of oil splatter.

I am one of those people that are super sensitive to the onion vapor to the point I feel like my eyes are burning for hours. The RSVP Onion Goggles -in shade Tortoise have been a God send! Now I can cut onions with no issues. Very great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love these, I was so excited, unfortunaly we must have some odd shaped heads in my household, they didn't fit any of us, not myself or my spose, or my 4 year old, or my mother. Very odd that they didn't fit any of us. I still love the idea, and the concept just didn't work for us.
