I’ve had this backpack for about 3 years and this last time I took it to the beach the top fell apart. The trimming unglued itself from the lid and the zipper started falling apart. While I had it, it worked great, kept the ice from melting for a while.

I have the 24-can cooler in coyote tan which has been a rockstar on hunting trips and lake days. The performance of the cooler is great, but the zipper opener broke off in the first two months. I had the same issue with YETI in the past, so I tied a paracord loop and ball on the end to fix the issue.

Kept food and drinks ice cold for 3 days, and would probably have lasted longer. Works well with my thin Yeti ice packs and a few frozen water bottles. The right size for a backpack cooler. Two things I would change are the stiffness of the zipper (extremely hard to open/close with one hand) and I would make the back straps removable.

Backpack Cooler is great for trek to the beach, frees hands up to carry chairs and other items. Keeps your beverages cold on the hot beach. Recommend getting the side pack for your smaller items-if you can get your hands on one. This will also be perfect for the long hot days at the NASCAR track.

The cooler works well but operating the zipper is like fighting a bear. Eventually the zipper created a bubble spot and wouldn't go past. Shame to throw out a good cooler for a bad component.

Quality built you can feel. Our coolers are getting a face lift with RTIC. Also purchased a hard cooler and a few totes to keep my groceries chilled when running errands. Works so well, purchased another one today as a gift for friend. This soft cooler made out of same material. Nice knowing this brand is comparable to high dollar coolers...just didn't need to spend a fortune!! Excited to use on next road trip!

We’ve only used our new backpack cooler once, for an afternoon outing and it was great. Perfect size for our family of 4 (held lunch, snacks & drinks) and kept everything cold. The zipper was really tough to use, I’m hoping it will be easier to open/ close after we grease it up.
