Rubbermaid Configurations 3-6 Ft Custom Closet Organizer Deluxe Kit

I bought the largest version of this closet organizer several years ago so I knew what I expected in regards to quality. I wasn't disappointed. Other manufacturers I've seen use plastic rod brackets and flimsy wire shelving. This is not that. Metal, and plenty of it, makes for a sturdy organizer. The first one I bought is in as-new condition after 4-5 years. No bent wires, not broken end caps, nothing. It's pristine. I grabbed various pieces of this new one to compare to the first to see if there were any signs of lesser quality. They're exactly the same. I'm very pleased. The extensions are a big plus for a smaller sized organizer. Love it.

My only reservation about the rubbermaid closet kits are that I wish they were more aesthetically pleasing, but you can't beat the value and functionality at all. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this terrible DIY shelf in the home we just bought, and i was thrilled for this system! it was large enough to run length wise, VS. putting it in the tiny corner. we probably should have painted first, but I didnt want to wait for the new space this would bring. Absolutely worth the price, and i will be getting systems like this for ALL of our closets. opening the box, it looks intimidating. BUT when its time to actually assemble. its SO simple. Once you moumt the very top bar to chosse the length (3'-6'), you do the vertical bars, and then screw them to the wall so they dont wiggle. and then just starting sitting the triangle parts that hold the shelves honestly however you want! we have our set up similar. BUT its so tall in the closet and im so short, we had to move the shelves around so my husbands stuff is up top lol. for reference where the odd wood stripe is on the wall, is where the previous owners had a shelf in the closet. im not sure how high up it was, but my husband is 6ft 3. hope that helps!

I decided to try the Rubbermaid closet kit as my closet only had a clothes rod. Assembly was pretty easy as long as you can follow the included instructions. Once I configured the shelving and area to hang my clothes I discovered that my closet seems like I have more room than I used to. Now I have more room for more clothes and shoes. I may need to get more of these kits for other closets in my home.

It was very simple to install using the clear instruction manual. I like that it can be configured in various ways to accommodate most closets. The components are very sturdy and well designed. And getting it all put together I have to say I'm not disappointed. Out of the box and overall it was very easy to configure and setup. I love the customization you can do with it. The shelves feel very sturdy, as does the rod. In the end I had enough space for my clothes, shoes, several boxes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my closet kit a couple day before Christmas and decided to take my time and install it after the holidays. It took me about 3 hours to install the kit. The installation was pretty easy except I could not figure out how to use the wall anchors. So I went on you tube and looked it up. My closet is 6 ft wide and the kit fits perfect. It's very sturdy once you get it installed. I've been able to get the majority of my clothing back in the closet. It been 6 days and it's still holding up. Just remember to use the anchors if there's no stud to screw in the brackets. The instructions were easy to understand another plus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited to get this item. My closet needed a bit more organization. The current ones where starting to fall off. Rubbermaid is the best in quality and I have always loved there products. My expandable wire closet kit was very easy to install. My only recommendation is not to use any of the previous holes unless you have no choice. Also you can put putty in them to strengthen them and secure your closet kit.

I like the multiple configurations of the shelves and once I no longer work from home and don't need this room as my office- we will add the bars in for hanging clothes and turn my current office, back into a spare room. Very versatile pieces, as long as you can measure straight (!!) super easy to install and use, just take your time and do it right! :)

I haven't had a chance to assemble and put on the wall yet but am impressed with the quality. It is your standard wire shelving with tracks so you can adjust the features for size of clothing and space to work around.

It seems to be a lot stronger than it looks and it's easily manipulated to be the way I want it and change it around if need be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to put up some shelving in my pantry to store dry good and spices. The instructions were fairly easy to ready and installation was quick. Overall I am excited to have my pantry more organized. My one complaint is that they don't send enough screws and drywall hangers. I believe there were 15 screws and 10 drywall anchors. I only installed about 3/4 of the hardware and almost ran out. Otherwise great product!

This comes well packaged and the directions are easy to follow, with pictures for those of us who need both. Once you find your studs and figure your layout it all comes together. I love that you don’t need to cut anything and you can adjust it to what you need. This is good and sturdy and it looks good.
