My daughter and husband fight over this toy. It’s great in the car and doubles as a fidget. My only issue is the cube sometimes gets caught with turning, so it could be smoother like the old-school cubes.

I want to thank Target for sending me another one after the first one never arrived. They were fast and great about it. My granddaughter wanted one for Christmas and working 7 days a week I was not sure I would get downtown in time for a Christmas gift. I bought another Rubik's cube, having bought one over 10 years ago. The new version's quality is really noticeably different than my old one. I bought the new one for no more than $10 on sale and I got the older one for about $7 I think. The new one felt cheaply made, with bare minimum packaging. It doesn't even come with instructions/turning guides and a stand anymore. In the past, it came with a small booklet that taught you how to solve the cube and it came with a black triangle plastic stand for display. The new cube itself feels very cheap, despite it costing more now to buy. The cubes feel and sound very hallow compared to the older version where it felt like the cubes were solid. The one pro about this newer cube is that you don't have to oil it yourself. It comes pretty loose and you can turn it very easily. I haven't tried removing a piece of the cubes to see if that works and what the center is like though.
