I used this after using the companion shampoo. The conditioner didn't give my hair any hydration or moisture. it made my hair tangel free and soft BUT also very limp and weighed down.

I love the oil and detangler from this line, however this conditioner was horrible! I slept in it overnight, to deep condition, and my hair was a brittle mess the next day! Lightly wide combing through my hair, resulted in large clumps of hair coming out, because my hair was just that brittle from the conditioner. It was the only new thing I used, so I know it was the culprit. Do not recommend!

I love this product. I have seen a difference in my hair. I've noticed less shedding, my hair is hydrated and soft. I would reccomend and plan on buying other products of this brand.

I read these amazing and now questionable reviews and rushed over to my local target to buy this and other products from this line. I gave the 1 star because it detangled nicely. However, upon drying, my hair was a crispy crunchy dry mess, no moisture whatsoever. As the days went on, my hair only became dryer...I’m talking sandpaper dry! I figured because these products were so highly raved about, I would give it a second try, because clearly I did something wrong. Tried this conditioner again, same results! A waste of money, never again!

HOLY GRAIL of conditioners. I have been natural for about 8 years. It has ALWAYS been a struggle for me to find a good quality conditioner that was suitable for both my hair (fine and soft) and my daughters (thick and course). I was hesitant about this product because it was new and I was use to having multiple options with other hair care brands/lines. The real test came when I washed my daughters hair. Generally we would use half of an 8 oz. bottle of conditioner from other brands. This product was different! A little went a longggggggg way! I was amazed at how easy I was able to comb through her hair with little effort. This product offers a good slip which helps minimize breakage when detangling. The essence of ginger, turnip and carrot root oil is a nice bonus to using the product as well.

Rutgers Roots have no bad ingredients like PABA or paraffin. All natural. A family recipe. I love that it a company created and owned by two sisters. I have color treated hair and have to be very choosy with my products. I can’t imagine a more gentle line of hair products. I tried it and have never used anything else since. I bet you’ll be pleased too.

I purchased both the shampoo and conditioner for my relaxed hair. The conditioner was thick and creamy. Spread easily throughout my hair and rinses clean. The product had a fresh mint smell to it but light. My hair was left thoroughly detangled and soft. I love the ingredients and will continue to use for overall healthy hair.

Can't rave enough about their products. I've been using their conditioner for 2 weeks now in combination with the shampoo and my hair looks and feels better than never. It leaves my hair really soft and smooth without weighing it down. Great conditioner and happy I stumbled across Rucker Roots and even happier to know I can now purchase at my local Target!
