Q: Can this be used on a cotton fabrics? Specifically a T-shirt for a one time wear Halloween outfit. If so, will it be extremely stiff and crack easily?
A: Thank you for reaching out. Rust-Oleum Universal Spray Paint provides a hard coating that can not be applied to fabric surfaces. As the fabric moves it will cause the paint to crack and peel. We hate to disappoint but we do not currently offer a paint for clothes. -Rust-Oleum Product Support 14

Q: do I need to spray clear coat
A: Happy to help! It's not required for a clear coat to be applied onto the Rust-Oleum Universal Advanced Paint + Primer in One. If one is desired, you can certainly consider using the Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch 2x Ultra Cover Spray Paint https://www.target.com/p/rust-oleum-12oz-2x-painter-39-s-touch-ultra-cover-gloss-spray-paint-clear/-/A-75575322#lnk=sametab - Rust-Oleum Product Support 1

Q: Hi there. Can this be used to paint a clear glass Vase gold?
A: Glad to lend a hand! The Rust-Oleum Universal Metallic Spray wouldn't be able to adhere to glass without primer applied first. For priming, we would recommend using the Rust-Oleum Painter's Touch Ultra Cover 2X Primer. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5

Q: would one can be enough to spray paint 2 metal backyard chairs?
A: Glad to help out, Diana. Each can of Rust-Oleum Universal covers about 10-15 sq ft per can and you would require 2 to 3 coats, so you would need to account for that in the coverage. We suggest measuring the surface area to get an accurate estimate of what you'll need. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5
