Rust-Oleum 12oz Stops Rust 5-in-1 Spray Paint Gloss Maui Blue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the Rust-Oleum Navy Blue glass protective enamel spray paint. As you can see I needed to redue a metal flower stand that was rusted. I really liked the 5 in 1 spray adjustments as I was able to spray horizontally and vertically without getting the paint everywhere or on myself. I am glad to have a sunny day to work outside. Drying time seems to be around 24 hours however this was directly in sunlight with temperature @ 60 degrees. I was able to reapply directly after a few hours to the specific colour desired. Highly recommend makes keeping those metal Heirlooms that much more enjoyable.

This is a beautiful color. I received 6 cans and haven’t even touched half of one can! I have a great project in mind and can’t wait to use more!

The paint kinda got in the dial part when I was using it so I kinda couldn't tell which number was which anymore. I liked that there were several different options. The plastic covering the trigger let me paint longer before my thumb started hurting, so that was nice. Odor wasn't any worse than any other spray paint. Took two cans to do the front of this bench. I would probably use this product again.

I painted small diameter items like pvc pipe, and I also sprayed broad pieces like 1x6 wood. I know Rustoleum is a trusted named brand and I have used it several times before. This new dial is a game changer for my projects!

Not only that, but it also dried up pretty fast. I like how you can control how wide you want the spray to be. That makes smaller projects much easier to do. The power of choice truly matters! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the idea of having different spray patterns built in to the nozzle on the Rust-Oleum enamel spray paint. I tested the color “Cherry” which is a nice vibrant red. The can is comfortable to hold and the activator button is easy to press. I was quite impressed with the absence of harsh odor which is typical of my spray paints. I tested the difference in spray pattern on all 5 settings. Quite frankly, I do not see much difference between each of the settings when spraying at a distance of 6-8 inches. Perhaps spraying on something other than cardboard would produce different results. The drying time is average, taking 3-5 minutes to be 100% fully dried and no longer tacky. The first coat didn’t seem to provide full coverage, so a second coat was needed. Even after applying a second coat, once fully dried, the paint seemed a bit splotchy. I did not attempt a third coat. Overall, the Rust-Oleum enamel spray paint is a decent product, and the company is well-known, however, I don’t think the 5 different custom spray setting made enough difference to warrant searching for this specific product over a standard spray paint. I received this product free of charge from Influenster and Rust-Oleum in exchange for my honest opinion.

I feel like other brands you definitely have to spray the can before you buy to make sure it’s the right color. It also gives great coverage on the first spray.
