Ryka Womens Devotion X Max Classic Walking Shoe

I really like these walking shoes. I’ve been walking for over 70 years and have a hard time finding a shoe that has got a wide enough box, narrow enough heel and cushion that is just right -this one fits all those criteria.

I have tried many of the Ryker shoes lately and never found them as comfortable as this shoe other shoes. I felt I was walking on rocks with no cushioning. This issue was different thank the gods.

I love a shoe that you can just put on and wear all day, these shoes are it. Comfortable and supportive, these are my 3rd pair of Rykas.

Shoe lacks lateral midfoot side support starting at base of shoe. I'm buying this particular shoe to help with my plantar fasciitis. Other brands generally provide this feature.

I'm all about reviews, so I typically wait a while before leaving product feedback. This is my 60 Day Review of the Devotion X Max Classic, and here are the reasons why I gave it 4 stars: *What I like: decent support, size is pretty true (more on this in a minute), seem durable/well constructed, and they have a good look! I'm a person who is on their feet most of the day and can be a bit rough on their shoes, so I've been searching for a shoe that can rise to the occasion. After 60 days, this shoe hasn't left me with achy feet at the end of my shift, nor cramping legs at night. Two thumbs up. *What I wasn't crazy about: first, the medium width seems a little snug. I don't have a wide foot and have never needed a wide shoe...but if I purchase these again, I might give the wide width a go, because the mediums are snug. I rarely wear heavy socks, so I'm sure this isn't the issue. Secondly, the laces sometimes won't stay tied. Maybe it's just me, but I find that under "pressure" (meaning times when my foot is bent, like crouching down or climbing a ladder) they sometimes come undone. At first glance, one can see that these are not heavy duty laces...but in all fairness, this is not a "work" shoe! A solution for my lifestyle is simply replacing them. Lastly, (and likely least important) is the emblem on the side is almost gawdy. Perhaps it's because it's a plastic material and the rest of the shoe is of a softer construction that it seems "off". Again, just the view from my angle. *Overall, a decent shoe. I hope this review has been helpful in some small way!

Love love these shoes. I have a wide foot, the toe box is perfect even with have an arch issue and bunion on my foot . I walk 3 to 5 miles every day. Very comfortable !!

I like these they give me a little extra height which is nice and they are comfortable

The best walking sneaker I've owned. I'm retired, walk 3-6 miles daily and this sneaker is the best thus far.

I bought this shoe because I've been having trouble finding shoes that fit properly ( I have always worn Sketchers in the past), but they don't seem to fit properly anymore. The Rykas that I bought even though they were a wide I still had trouble with being too tight on a section of my foot. After several weeks of wearing them a little bit each day they finally fit and no longer hurt my left foot. I would likely buy another pair, hoping they fit better from the beginning.

Only issue is the shoelaces are too short! Barely long enough to tie a bow

I always wear Rykä shoes. These are by far the most comfortable ones I ever purchased. I love them, they have a lot of cushion and are perfect for walking. Buy them, I promise you won’t be sorry!!

Bought a pair to try and immediately ordered another pair. Very comfortable shoe. I always size up a half size with Ryka and because I have bone spurs, I've begun to order a wide width. I walk 5 miles a day and can actually keep these on until I go to bed at night. I own many different variations of Ryka, but I think this is my new favorite.
