Ryka Womens Podlow Walking Sneaker

I love Ryka’s and these PodFlow are the very best of my Ryka walking shoes! The arch support and cushioning from toe to heal are is phenomenal! This is my first pair of PodFlow but they won’t be the last!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These shoes came right on time as I am starting up my fitness journey which includes daily walks. The shoes are very comfortable and I feel like I’m walking on air. They support my feet well and appear to be very durable which is great! One negative is the shoelaces. I guess I need to learn to tie them better because they kept coming untied. This is minor and I can figure it out. These are great walking shoes!

I am a runner and run around 13 miles a week and so far they have held up great, I usually replace my shoes every 8 months and having had these for a month, ai am confident they will last. I also work in a clinic and use this on days when I know I will be on my feet a lot, they have been pretty comfortable, perfect for nurses or anyone in healthcare.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Ryka Podflow Walking Sneakers! From the moment they arrived, packaged neatly and just as described. I picked the bright blue color and it’s even better in person, vibrant and perfect. The mesh fabric makes these sneakers incredibly lightweight and breathable. I wore them on a long grocery run (which usually leaves my feet sore), and it honestly felt like a pleasant walk through the park(aisles,that is😄). They’re true to size and fit perfectly, even with the insole that adds an extra layer of soft cushioning. Great design too! What I love most is that they’re clearly designed for women, supportive, stylish, and practical. They’ve officially become my favorite pair of shoes. I’m already thinking of getting another model and color!💕

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put these babies on as soon as I received them. I love the vibrant blue color and they are so comfortable. The arch support is awesome since my arch could use some help. The sneakers laces upon looking closer, there are ridges so when you laces up the sneakers, the laces will stay in place forever. They feel like they were custom made for my shape. I enjoy walking in them. The soles feel like they are anti slip so I can walk with confidence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box I noticed these shoes are vibrant and gorgeous! Immediately I unboxed them and tried them on. Normally I am between a 7.5 and an 8, and I have wider feet with a super high arch. I went with an 8 and I’m glad I did! These shoes are extremely lightweight and I felt a ton of support in my arches which normally I feel is a huge issue with most other sneakers. It feels like I’m not even wearing sneakers! I use these for lifting/walking/lifestyle and not running so I cannot give any information on running in them. I love the bottom of them because they are grooved. I’m def going to be using these over my new balances more in the gym!

The concept of a shoe designed specifically for women immediately caught my attention, and the bright, beautiful color with reflective stripes for added safety in low light is a fantastic touch. They’re also impressively lightweight, which I appreciated. However, the smallest size runs larger than expected despite me matching the size chart. I tried compensating with thicker socks, but the arch support just didn’t work for me, and my feet started to ache after a few minutes. If they have your size, they seem like a great choice for walking or long hours on your feet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a person who always really struggles with gym shoes- they hurt my feet, they don’t fit right, they wear out too fast, etc., etc. I’m super excited upon giving my ryka’s a try. They’re more solid on the bottom for better traction and durability, but really light on the laces and easy on my feet. These are 100% going to be my new walking and work shoes!

I’ve been wearing Ryka walking shoes for almost a decade and swear by them. Until now. These are Very hard to put on—all of my other Rykas are easy. Not enough ankle support. I’ll stick with the devotion series.

These shoes, like all the Ryka's I have (but more so) are very comfortable and supportive. I wear them to walk the track at the gym as well as out and about for long periods of time. They also help my feet not to roll inward and to walk heel to toe rather than sometimes scuffing my toe area or leading with the front, keeping me standing straighter. I recomend them highly.

I've been looking for a replacement for my beloved Influence shoe since it only comes in white now (I miss all the colors!) The Podflow looked interesting, so I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did! It's a bit odd-looking with its thick sole and "pods" that look like octopus tentacle suckers, but that's not a bad thing. It gives the shoe character and sets it apart from other walking sneakers. The laces are textured, so if you tend to have a problem with your laces coming undone on other shoes, you probably won't with these. I found them comfortable right out of the box--no break-in time needed. I also found them to run true-to-size--I wear an 8M in other Ryka shoes and these fit perfectly in the same size. They took a bit of getting using to balance-wise (10mm heel-to-toe drop as opposed to 6mm on the Influence), but again, they are very comfortable to wear and have good arch support and plenty of room in the toe box--I can wear them all day with no issues. I haven't tried wearing them for Zumba class yet. Other reviewers have noted that the Podflow is a heavier shoe than what they've typically worn for workouts, but I'm willing to give them a try--the additional weight could make for a more challenging and effective workout! Whether I like them for Zumba or not, the Podflow is definitely my new everyday sneaker!

I can't say that I notice any difference in these walking sneakers compared to others that I've had. I do love the color.

The Podflow is the strangest fitting Ryka I've every tried. A few steps in these had me taking them off quick! There isn't the usual inside shape that conforms to your feet -- and because of the outsole it feels like you're walking on one solid block. I expected flexibility with that outsole but there isn't any. It's just a hard feeling walk, which is weird considering the foam feels fairly soft when you push into it with a finger. Plus, the upper material is very thin/cheap feeling and gives no support to your feet.

These may be THE most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I suffer from bunions and other foot issues. These are simply the best ! Thank you RYKA! I hope to get them in white asap !

Love the shoe. The fit is great. There is maximum sole cushioning. It did take a few hours to get accustom to the shoe the first day. Now wearing full day in comfort.
