While the hummus itself is still the same Sabra hummus I know and love..I wasn’t the biggest fan of the chimichurri version. Maybe it’s something I like separately but together it was just ok. I think for me I wanted the chimichurri to stand out more but the flavor got a little lost in the hummus. Glad I tried a different flavor from my usuals though but probably not a repeat purchase for me.

It wasn’t salty enough and the chimichurri herbiness was odd to me. I tried it with fresh broccoli and with a cracker and I didn’t like it with either.

I enjoyed this hummus with some warm bread- it’s a great dip! I would prefer this hummus over a classic hummus as the topping really adds to the flavor profile. It has a great freshness to it. I don’t normally mix in the inclusion into hummus, but with this item there is a lot of chimichurri so I liked to mix it in. It has a bit more of a kick/boldness than typical hummus flavors. This is excellent with carrots and chips. The standard hummus tub packaging works great for this item.

However, the flavor is good and texture is a mixture of creamy with a slight bit of grittiness. It’s very refreshing and a great snack. I ate it with pita chips, which is my go to for hummus. I’d say the flavor is fresh with the parsley and a slight garlic as well. I do wish they made larger containers and it goes quite quick.
