Safety 1st Play-and-Stay Playard

We should have known when we had to return the first one because one button would not click into place but we exchanged it and got a second one which we were able to setup. We set it up and were never able to take it down. The button was stuck. The Play and Stay worked well as a stationary unit and looked nice but ultimately didn’t do the full job because it could not be collapsed. The flooring/mat is very hard compared to others. We have 2 Safety First brand items and they are both the most frustrating items we have for our baby - with buttons that stick. I’d avoid them. Ultimately we had to buy a different brand pack and play for traveling and it is a breeze comparatively.

DO NOT BUY THIS. It is incredibly difficult to take down as the buttons are extremely hard to press. Absolutely awful and extremely frustraing.

After do much research and comparing the different ones out there and my needs, I went with the Safety 1st US Play-and-Stay Play Yard. I have been a fan of Safety 1st products since I welcomed my first child 12 years ago. All our childproofing products in the house were from Safety 1st, as well as baby hygiene products, bottles and even baby gates. I had no idea they make play and stay play yards, but was happy to see so many other parents raving about this trusted brand and their many products including their Safety 1st US Play-and-Stay Play Yard, that they use with their children and love. I love this product because it isn't clunky or takes up a lot of space. It is easy to set up, fold up, and a cinch to remove the full bassinet -- which is a must for when we bring it to my parents and they want to put baby down for a nap. I really like the stylish design of this Safety 1st US Play-and-Stay Play Yard. It goes with our nursery theme and isn't an eye sore. It moves around easily from room to room thanks to two sturdy and durable wheels. Like I said, I bring them to the grandparents for a makeshift crib, so I like how it comes with a carry bag to store and travel with the Safety 1st US Play-and-Stay Play Yard. There are side storage pockets on one end of the Safety 1st US Play-and-Stay Play Yard, which I use to store changing supplies. I like having them within reach when I have to change diapers. I really like the airy mesh sides and how the bassinet has memory foam, making this a super comfy place for baby to sleep for naps at home and while away from their nursery. I could go on and on about why I love the Safety 1st US Play-and-Stay Play Yard so much. I am so glad I went with this trusted brand and their product, and see the Safety 1st US Play-and-Stay Play Yard growing with my baby. Highly recommend. I've owned a similar product with another brand, and the play and stay play yard blows it out of the water. It was super easy to set up, as well as move between rooms. However the highlight of the product is how secure it is. The bassinet and changing table are locked in pretty tightly to the "crib" sides. It would be very difficult to accidentally dislodge them. They seem to hold weight really well and I've not had any issues of "sagging in" like I did with my other brand. We keep this product in the living room, but you could also move it to your bedroom and save on a full size bassinet. Because of its stability and versatility, you can use this play yard for quite a long time.

The play and stay play yard is so versatile for baby and me. The baby has so many stages that I must adjust to and this play and stay play yard is perfect for that. When my baby cam home from the hospital he needed to be changed A LOT and the little changing area is perfect for that. I would then put him in the little bassinet area so that he could tire himself by playing and finally put him in the lower level to sleep. This play yard definitely grows with your child.

This play and stay is beautiful! You can tell the quality of materials that went into making this. The colors are neutral and it would look great in any space. The flip away changing pad was super convenient to switch around when you needed to quickly. It was great to have a separate changing area that you could easily wipe clean if it got dirty during changing. The bassinet was my favorite feature. It put the baby at an easy height to reach and see in quickly. The material was soft but still firm enough for a newborn. The product went together quickly, and came down quickly and was even easy to put into the storage bag. You could set this up in just a matter of minutes! I would highly recommend this product for yourself or for a baby shower gift for someone expecting. You don't be disappointed!

I received this product for free in exchange for a review. I think this is a great product for the price point. I liked the material and overall multipurpose of the pack and play. I think this would be a great product to use day one of bringing home a newborn. This could be setup in the living room since it has both the infant bassinet and changing station. I think that the changing station was a bit small but having the pockets on the side help with storing diapers and wipes. Once your baby is out of the newborn stage this pack and play grows right along with them to a bassinet and then to a typical pack and play. I felt that once put together this was lightweight to move around but if you travel a lot it is pretty heavy and bulky. Assembly was easy and I liked the pocket for the instructions so I could easily reference when setting up or taking down. I would recommend this product to a friend and to anyone looking for an affordable pack and play.

What a well-made play yard. My oldest is 7, so I've been using play yards for years and I have to say this one is well above the rest I've used. It's built really well, is so easy to set up and I LOVE the padded bottom for comfort. Set up was really simple and the instructions were very clear. Take down is easy, as well, making this very convenient for travel. Loved the pockets on the side for extra storage!

I was excited to sample this product as I had always used Graco but this play yard looked to be a great all in one option. At first set up with was a little harder to set up than what I've used before; however, that grief was quickly erased with all the features. This play yard truly has it all for the newborn phase and all. I like that I can use it as a bassinet as well as a command center for diaper changes and all things baby outside of her room. There are a lot of added features that make organization simple. Also, the wheels make it quite easy to move from one room to another even while holding a baby. Also, the fabric is not scratchy and is very easy to clean. I would highly recommend to any parent looking for a play yard to use from day one and beyond.

I love this Play and Stay Play Yard. It is so convenient with the bassinet and changing station. It is a game changer to have this convenience. It is very easy to flip the items away when I wanted to use it as a play yard. I love the portability and it is very attractive and nice looking. It transports easily both around the house and also for travel and going to visit family and friends. It is a great size without being too large or bulky. So easy to set up and take apart for traveling purposes. I needed somewhere for the baby to nap during the day when we are downstairs and I love that it has the changing table adaption. No need to run upstairs. I would definitely buy this product or buy it for someone that is having a baby.
