Great for a Toddler and perfect for Mom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was given the opportunity to try the Safety 1st Strollerette Compact Stroller to try. This stroller is great for my toddler and perfect for me as a mom. It is easy to set up and take down. It requires very little effort and is lightweight for getting it in and out of the car. It takes one hand to set up! It is a game changer when your hands are already so full. This is designed for that stage when they are no longer a baby but aren't quite ready to hang out for a long day at the zoo. It is perfect for taking on a trip or to the airport. With the adjustable cover on top and a built-in pocket on the back, it is the go-to choice for Mom as well. I loved the storage options below the seat and the ability to adjust the seat for little man if he needs a nap vs is just along for the ride. I like that there is a shade to cover and adjust over the little one riding in the front. And the cupholder!!! AHHH! I love that this has a convenient cupholder. My baby stroller doesn't have one, and it's my missing element. I love that the Strollerette Compact Stroller has one, making life easier for me and my little one. The handles are comfortable and easy to secure, allowing you to steer the stroller with little effort. I also appreciated the brakes on each back tire to keep it from moving. It was easy enough to secure these brakes and disengage them to keep moving. This is a great stroller, whether it is your first child or youngest. In my opinion, it is ideal for a toddler aged 12 months to 3 years.

Light and compact stroller for traveling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of Stellar Product Testing panel. This stroller is very light, compact, and easy to set up/ break down. It has quite a bit of storage for being so small! My little one was very cozy in here. The ride is a bit bumpy, but that’s to be expected with such a light stroller. The reason I deducted one star is because the shoulder strap has two separate pieces, which very easily come apart. This makes strapping in the baby way more complicated than it needs to be. I’ve never seen a stroller where the strap comes apart like this. I still really like the stroller for traveling. At home though, we’ll continue using our more durable one, as the ride is much smoother and its roomier. For traveling or small spaces, this is a great stroller.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Strollerette Compact Stroller because it is flexible and comfortable. My 1 year old enjoys sitting in the stroller when I take her on walks outside. The design is great I love that they included a cup holder and extra compartment spaces for bags or different items I may need to bring with me. I love that the chair reclines all the way back, so my daughter can relax if she were to fall asleep in the stroller. The stroller was super easy to fold and storage because it was not as big as other strollers I used. I was going to say that I dislike the wheels because they did not move side to side. But I have to take a closer look and there is a switch that allows them to move. Overall, I love everything about this stroller. I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Safety 1st Strollerette Compact Stroller Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old travel system stroller was too bulky, taking up my entire trunk and needing two parts. This compact stroller is a great replacement—full-sized and comfortable for my toddler, but folds easily and takes up minimal space. It also looks stylish, sleek, and modern. Assembly took under 30 minutes, and it’s simple to use. It has useful features like a top viewing window, a cup holder, a pocket for small items, and ample storage underneath. While it lacks a snack tray, I understand the trade-off for a more streamlined design and can always buy an add-on if needed. Received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

It is compact and sturdy (well made) and my five year old was able to push my 15 month old in it. Only complaint would be that it’s a little heavier than I expected but will definitely still use for travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try and review. Safety 1st is a trusted brand in my household when it comes to baby gear, so it came as no surprise to me that I love this stroller! It is lightweight and super easy to get in/out of my car. I love how slim the profile is when it folds down- perfect for taking on vacation or wherever life takes you for the day! There’s so much to love- a generous storage basket, sun shade with a peekaboo vent, multiple seat positions, adjustable straps, padded handles, locking wheels, a cup holder, and a pouch for the caregiver’s supplies. We have loved using this at the park and I know this will be perfect for other upcoming family excursions like the aquarium and nature center! This has a generous weight capacity too, so if my older kid needs a rest, they are able to take a seat as well. I definitely recommend this stroller to anyone looking for a compact second (or first!) stroller to comfortably and safely be on the go with your little one!

High quality compact stroller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stroller from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and admittedly I was a bit skeptical before trying it out. In my experience, compact strollers always seem flimsy and lack a lot of features. I am happy to report that the Strollerette Compact Stroller far exceeded my expectations! Most importantly, the stroller features a five-point harness so I always felt that my baby was safe and secure. The shade provides a ton of coverage and protection from the sun. Since this is an outward facing stroller, I appreciate the mesh "window" to keep an eye on my toddler from behind! It is easy to push with ergonomic handles instead of the horizontal bar that strollers typically have. Plus this leaves room for a generous cup holder that is large and sturdy enough for my 40 oz thermos! Underneath the stroller is a wide net for storage with plenty of space for a diaper bag and more. The seat also offers a deep (but not full) incline if your baby needs to nap. Lastly the stroller is so lightweight that I (a petite woman) have no problem putting it in the trunk of my car. Overall I have zero complaints about this stroller and I intend to use it for years as my toddler grows!

Way better than I was Expecting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Safety 1st Strollerette Compact Stroller is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a budget-friendly or backup option. Assembly was a breeze—I had it out of the box and ready to go in the same time it takes to brew a cup of coffee. One of the first things I noticed was how lightweight the stroller is; I could easily carry it with one hand. This is crucial for me when I’m on the go and need to fold it up quickly. To my surprise, it also feels sturdy despite its compact design. My son, who is of average height and weight, fit comfortably in the seat with room to spare, and the safety belt secured him well. The storage space under the seat exceeded my expectations, easily accommodating my diaper bag and other essentials. In comparison to our more expensive name-brand stroller, the Safety 1st performed admirably, which is impressive for its price range. It even comes with a free cup holder attachment—something my higher-end stroller doesn’t offer. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. My stride occasionally hit the back of the stroller during walks, and the wheels could be smoother when turning. Despite these minor issues, the Safety 1st Strollerette has proven to be a fantastic travel stroller. At this price point, it’s hard to beat. A big thank you to the Steller review panel for providing me with this stroller to test and review!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t had the best experiences with this style of stroller in the past. However I have been pleasantly surprised at how fantastic this stroller is. To start, the design is simple and sleek. The materials wipe clean easily and are comfortable for my child. It’s sized just right to be roomy enough for my 18 month old to have room to grow, yet still small enough to fit in a small dressing room while shopping. There’s also ample storage space below to hold essentials while shopping. I also appreciate the built in pocket for small items which is easy to reach with pushing the stroller. One of my favorite features of this stroller is how easy it is to fold and unfold. It’s intuitive and easy to do one handed. This stroller now has a permanent home in the back of my minivan. It is so convenient and easy to use on the go around town. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending it to me to try!

Wonderful lightweight quick daily stroller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to test out the Safety 1st Strollerette Compact Stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel! This little stroller is wonderful! It has all you need for the transitional toddler stage when your looking to cut down on the bulk of regular baby strollers. The design is lovely and the compact way it closes up fits great in the trunk of your car. Takes up a fraction of what large baby strollers take up. I am able to open and close it with one arm and a leg most times! It’s very simple to assemble and with that comes the ease of the opening and closing. Super thoughtfully designed in the sense that toddler is super comfortable but there is still room for my diaper bag and purse in the under carriage. I’d give it 5 stars if the wheels were rubber or something that had more traction on the ground. I took it to the zoo and around stores and it performed quite well until we had to go through grass and rocks. It’s a perfect theme park stroller though with nice high handle bars! The turn radius is great as well so maneuvering through tight isles in stores wasn’t a problem which is probably my favorite part of the stroller. The large canopy and adjustable seat is amazing as well. Overall a great design that will be used on the daily!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this stroller from Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for an honest review. This has been a fantastic stroller for us and checks all the boxes I wanted in a travel stroller. I have a 1.5 year old toddler who is 99th percentile in weight + 85th percentile for height and this stroller works for us, he has plenty of room to grow. It has a large capacity basket underneath, which has been nice to store a few toys on the go. The handles are a good height, but are not adjustable. It does not have an adjustable footrest, either, but we are ok with that. My only complaint is that this stroller collapses to fold like a typical umbrella stroller (not fold forward) and does not stand on it's own, so it is a bit awkward to store. We are looking forward to using this for travel purposes since it is so lightweight and compact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this stroller through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I own a couple of compact strollers, so I feel well versed on the different brands and types. Overall, this is not a bad stroller. While I tend to buy higher end strollers, the Safety 1st Strollerette did not disappoint. I feel it is on par with a lot of the other compact umbrella strollers that typically cost a lot more. The design is very similar. It has a five point harness and a good sized basket underneath. The fold is typically of an umbrella stroller, so having a place to store this vertically is helpful. It is pretty easy to set up and fold. I only used it for walks around the neighborhood, but I could see this being good for theme park trips and the beach.

Nice lightweight stroller option

4 out of 5 stars
Travelgal - 7 months ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Safety 1st stroller is a nice, easy to use and lightweight option to use for travel. It came folded up and do require some assembly although it was extremely easy. The first time we used the stroller we didn’t realize you could lock the front wheels so they stay straight. So the first time we used it we hated the stroller because it didn’t turn well. After looking it over and messing with it some, we realized there are locks in the two front wheels that keep them pointed straight. If you release the lock they become swivel wheels which work quite well! I suppose the locking front wheels is a nice option if you want to take the stroller on a jog or make it easier to fold up. My husband felt that it was easier to fold and lighter weight than our other travel stroller. I felt that the materials were pretty basic and not as comfy as our other travel stroller although this is probably what helps it stay light. Might daughter seems to be comfortable in the stroller which is always a plus. It has an adjustable back so she can sit upright or recline. It does come with an attachable cup holder and it looks like you could potentially purchase an additional cup holder since there are slots in both hand push rails. The storage basket in the bottom of the stroller is large for a travel stroller which is great for storing all that baby gear! We have not yet used it on an airplane but would likely be able to fold this up and check it plane side. It does fit really well in the back of our car for long road trips. Overall, we like this stroller but our other travel stroller edges the Safety 1st stroller out by a thin margin because the materials on our other travel stroller seem to be softer and more comfortable. But this will definitely be our back up! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller!

Compact and Convenience

5 out of 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been really pleased with this compact stroller. The fabric is comfortable and has a more modern look while still being functional and soft for the littles. It was also incredibly easy to brush off any mess from sippy cups and snacks while on the go. For a compact stroller, I loved the basket size. It's a great addition and was big enough to carry a few items from the store. I didn't find the basket to be as accessible when the seat is fully reclined, but I could plan and adjust around that. The maneuverability is impressive, and the stroller handles very smoothly. I think the small pocket is my favorite since it gives me the perfect place to put my wristlet and iPhone. It fits easily in the backseat of my husband's Silverado, making it super convenient when we're on the go with our two and 4-year-olds. Both kids can fit comfortably, and the stroller still maneuvered skillfully with either of them in it. It also fits in my Nissan NV standing up. It barely takes up any space, so it is perfect because the trunk is not very deep. I appreciate that the seat reclines multiple positions. When fully reclined, it can work for quick diaper changes. Overall, this is a solid compact stroller that works great for a parent needing something pretty light but still able to function while on the go.

Truly awesome collapsible stroller

5 out of 5 stars
BGClear85 - 7 months ago
originally posted on doreljuvenile.com
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this stroller to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel. I have used similar strollers in the past and I've always just felt like they did the job but were nothing great. This stroller, however is actually awesome. The seat is wider than most small strollers so I feel like it will last longer and my kid won't be squished into it as she grows. The canopy is a full canopy, as opposed to some that are just a partial that you have to move constantly to chase the sun. It also pulls down further than many so it will actually provide good protection, especially during naps. Speaking of naps, the seat back actually reclines and has 3 positions, one of which is almost fully laid back. There's an easy tab to pull on the back of the seat so there's isn't a lot of fiddling around to do to recline it, either. The canopy stays attached to the seat while reclined and provides full coverage even when fully laid back. The frame of the stroller is taller, which is nice because a lot of travel type strollers have very low handles which means that I end of hunched over when pushing the stroller. I added a picture here showing the handle compared to my kitchen counter so you can see how high they sit. The functionality is very easy both to open and close. To open is just one side latch and it pops right open. You then use your foot to press down a pedal which snaps into place easily. To close you just release that pedal and then pull a small tab on the side and it collapses right down where the side latch catches it. The wheels are also very easy to maneuver and don't catch or get stuck at all. Two nice extra perks are a very large storage area underneath, which is much more substantial than a lot of collapsible strollers, as well as a cup holder! Which is always helpful for a busy and exhausted parent. The only drawback of this stroller is that it is a bit heavier than others I've used but I think the trade-off is that you're getting more functionality for the extra weight. Overall, I love this!

Huge Storage and Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to test the Safety 1st Strollerette Compact Stroller! I absolutely loved how lightweight this stroller was. The way that the stroller looks when taking out of the box is sleek, and looks functional. I don’t think the stroller looked as compact as I thought it would be, but the low weight of the design made up for that. The biggest thing that drew my attention once opening the stroller was the large canopy, and large storage basket! It has to have been the biggest basket i’ve ever seen on a compact stroller. I was super excited to use this on my grocery trips with my toddler because it’s lightweight enough to throw in my trunk, doesn’t take up too much space, and the basket like I said was great to put all my groceries in! It comes with an included cup holder which is an added plus! I did have to say that the only thing I wish was improved is the folding feature. It can be difficult to open/close, and I think this is because the stroller is trying to be as compact as it can be. Other than this, and once you get ahold of it, opening and closing it is pretty easy. If you’re looking for that lightweight stroller to throw in your trunk, or even for grandparents when they are taking your kiddos out, I would get this!

The Comfort Stroller

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the stellar panel for the chance to try out the Safety First Compact Stroller. It’s been a helpful addition for our family outings. The easy fold feature is definitely a highlight. It makes packing it into the trunk super simple, which is a relief when you’re juggling kids and gear. And it fits well without taking up too much space. I really appreciated the reclining seat—perfect for nap time! My one-year-old was able to settle in comfortably while we were at the park, and the awning offered just the right amount of shade to keep him sleeping peacefully. That said, there were a few things I didn’t love. The ride wasn’t as smooth as I expected, especially on uneven surfaces, which made for a bumpy experience. I also found that I had to use both hands to push it, which can be tricky when you’re managing other things. And honestly, the design felt a bit dated; it didn’t have the sleekness I’d hoped for. Overall, the Safety First Compact Stroller has its strengths, especially in comfort and convenience. It’s been a good option for our family, just with a few quirks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through stellar product testing panel. I really enjoyed the look as it does look much nicer and substantial than most compact strollers I have seen. I have been keeping it in the trunk of my SUV and it is super helpful when we go to the park and the zoo. I have a horrible habit of forgetting to unload our large stroller from the trunk and then having zero space if I were to go to the grocery etc. I am so happy that this stroller is so compact and my son seems to really think it is comfortable! It was extremely easy to fold and unfold. My diaper bag fits underneath perfectly. I would say I love the convenance of this stroller the most as it is so so easy to travel with. I would say my least favorite is that I wish it had a snack tray accessory for longer trips out. over all I give it 4 stars just because of the lack of snack try, but overall amazing with an impressive sun shade that has really proved to be a sturdy part to the stroller.

Excellent design for moms on the go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. That being said, I have never been satisfied with any stroller I've owned until now. My previous stroller would lock up and was extremely difficult to steer, so upgrading to the Safety 1st Strollerette was like a dream. It ticked a lot of boxes: compact when folded up for storage, easy steering, comfortable for my toddler, and it exceeded expectations as far as storage goes. The storage under the seat is so large, my 1 year old climbed inside and was able to comfortably sit without complaint. Setup is really simple and figuring out how to take it down is also a breeze. I like that it has a cup holder and a closable pocket on the back for things you don't want loose in the larger storage pocket. Possibly one of the best parts is that it is so easy to push and steer that my 8 year old fights me to get to push her sister in it. Not a bad place to be! The separate handles is really nice. The only downfall would be if you are a one-handed pusher. I'm currently sitting outside while my child screams, because she does not want to get out of the stroller, so you can say it's kid approved as well. I'm throwing out my old stroller and using the strollerette from here on out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I received the Safety 1st Strollerette Compact Stroller. It's a great umbrella stroller and I was surprised at how big it is! My 4 year old sits comfortably in it and loves that he is tall enough to reach the foot rest, while my 1.5 year old enjoys it as well though her feet don't reach the foot rest. The size has made it the perfect stroller for keeping in the back of our SUV without taking up too much space. We recently traveled to visit family and barely took up any space so we were able to comfortably fit everything in our trunk and still have extra space! The stroller itself has a large amount of space for putting items we need. We took it on a walk where my 1.5 year old rode her bike and gave up partway home. I was pleasantly surprised that her small bike and helmet fit in the bottom of the stroller. We have also taken walks with other items like a small toy wagon and a baby doll stroller that were abandoned by my children and both fit wonderfully in the cargo space of the Strollerette! The absolute best part is how easy and simple it is to close and open the stroller! Almost so easy you can do it with one hand, though 2 are required for folding it back down. I love that there is a handle to grab to pick it up to place it in the car. We look forward to using this stroller as often as possible when a smaller stroller is the best option for us!
