I was delightfully surprised when I opened the box and realized that the Safety 1st Travel Everywhere Car Seat Bag had such a thick and heavy (in a good way) feel. Other car seat travel bags that I've used have been much thinner and tore. This one is a much higher quality material and fit the carseat so well, even without taking the attachments off! I was skeptical about the straps being comfortable for wearing it but was also surprised to find that they fit nicely and securely. I have included photos of both my 6'2" husband carrying it and of myself at 5'4", both of us had no trouble with it. It has a nice sleek design, I really appreciate the placement and inclusion of a ID pocket on the flat side of the bag. I like that the straps can be put away in the little pockets on the flat side so they're not just flapping loose everywhere. It was really easy to place and zip up the carseat in the bag. The zippers worked smoothly with no catches anywhere. I think I most appreciate how durable it feels and look forward to using this bag for our cross country flights! I received this as part of a Stellar Product testing panel, and I'm really glad I did. I have always bought the cheapest car seat bags that offer no protection, except maybe from dirt and grime, and aren't durable at all. This one is super sturdy. It's made of thick canvas material. Thick, but not too heavy. Even at 33 weeks pregnant I could comfortably carry my son's car seat. The zipper is high quality and seems like it will last a long time. I'm very rough on zippers so that's a huge plus. The straps are padded and made with mesh so they're breathable. The handle on the side is super easy to use if you don't want to carry it on our back. Glad they included that. If you travel a lot with kids this is a must-have.

This is the nicest looking and most functional car seat bag! I borrowed a different car seat bag for a trip to California that was not as good of quality. This Safety 1st Travel Everywhere Car Seat Bag exceeded my expectations in so many ways! It has far better features and is much better quality than others I have seen and used. The padded straps actually make it more comfortable to carry. The handle at the top makes it much easier to manage throughout the traveling process. The fabric is higher quality and more durable than most. It has a much sleeker look than most other car seat bags. The water resistant fabric is a nice touch so that if you get caught in the rain the car seat won't be wet for your child. The zipper makes it easier to load and unload rather than some drawstring ones. This bag had a well thought out design. I would highly recommend this car seat bag over any other. I luckily was able to receive this product thought the Stellar Product Testing Panel! I'd never thought of such a thing but have been victim to juggling car seats, luggage, kids, etc. through the airport. Let me tell you, this makes it so much easier!! The buckles are clanging around, no cup holders falling out and your arms aren't burning from trying to hold this giant, heavy, awkward piece. Another plus is you know it's staying clean! The look and design is simple and easy to use. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone that travels with their kiddos!

I was given this car seat travel bag to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and unfortunately I would not recommend this product. I am a mother of two kids and travel often. First appearances make it look like a quality car seat bag. It has a sleek, foldable design and thick waterproof material. Along with durable assist straps that are placed in easy-to-use locations. The product however, falls short in several areas. There are no wheels so it can only be used as a backpack. With several other suitcases and backpacks in tow the wheels would have been a nice addition. The zipper does not feel durable and I am worried that it will fail in transit. There is a hard piece sewn in at the bottom to help maintain the form of the bag. It seems unnecessary and actually digs into your back when you carry your carseat. Tightening the straps has been difficult. We switch the strap length often depending on whether I am wearing it or my husband. Lastly, you can detach the back straps when you are checking your bag in for travel but you cannot tuck in the bottom buckles making them vulnerable to breaking. This product meets basic design necessities but lacks real life usability.

Immediate first impression of this car seat bag was the above average quality. The exterior nylon feels almost ballistic quality, and the interior feels like a thick, waterproof material. The look is very basic, but I think I like that - not flashy at all. I normally like a little visual interest, but the flat black design works for this bag. Most importantly to me, though, is that it was easy to use. The zipper opens and closes smoothly, and the bag opens very wide, so it wasn't a struggle to get our car seats in or out. The two well-cushioned and well-positioned handles make it easier to carry, while the optional backpack-like straps definitely came in handy when we needed to carry it longer distances. All said, I think the thing I liked the most about this bag is that it really keeps our car seats protected. We have a common need to sometimes bring one of our car seats into the house, and despite our best efforts to prevent it, our cats will still use it as a bed or scratching post - this cover keeps the hair off and claws out, which is awesome! The Safety 1st Travel Everywhere Car Seat Bag is a GAME CHANGER for airport travel. Not only is it simple to carry the car seat with the backpack straps, the bag itself is very protective when the car seat is in the cargo hold. The bag is made with a thick, protective fabric (it feels like canvas). The zipper is well-made and gave me no trouble. The straps even stow away so they won't snag on anything. The bag is a sleek, black color; this probably appeals to a lot of people, but I wouldn't mind a stand-out fabric that makes it easy to spot among all the other black luggage at the airport.

Anyone with small kids knows what a pain it is to fly with big bulky car seats, so anything that makes the process smoother helps. I have used an old generic travel bag that is basically a glorified trash bag with tightening straps and this one looks and works so much better. It is the same shape as my Safety 1st car seat, so there's not as much excess fabric or any long dangly straps to get caught in airport conveyor belts. It couldn't be easier to use—you just set the car seat in, zip it up, and you're ready for any adventure. The fabric and zipper are very sturdy, so I feel confident that it will protect my car seat from loss or damage. My favorite feature is that it has backpack straps (which securely tuck away when not in use) AND handles on the top and side, so it's easy to carry in a variety of ways. It also works well as a storage bag. My only concern is that the bottom of the travel bag is hard instead of flexible. This does provide more structure but also limits how small you can fold up the bag when you're not using it, which makes it harder to stick into a suitcase or backpack. Aside from that, I love everything about this bag. It's comparatively comfortable even with a heavy car seat on your back thanks to the soft straps and good design leaving your hands free to push a stroller, pull a suitcase, or hand out the snacks.

I love this car seat bag, It is incredibly durable which is very important considering how rough airlines can be on our baggage. It looks very sleek and it would be easy to pop an obvious luggage tag to set your bag apart from the other passengers' luggage. There is also a handy spot for an identification tag at the top. It was incredibly easy to use having a wide enough opening with room to spare. It is large and in charge! I was concerned about the fit because my car seat brand is not Safety First but I didn't have any issues. I will likely purchase two more of these bags for my other car seats, I think it is so important to take care of and protect the things that we use to keep our children safe. My favorite feature of this bag is the adjustable backpack straps that allow me to carry the awkward/bulky baggage while freeing my hands to assist my children. I can't wait to bring it with us on our next adventure.

As a mom of 3 littles (Ages 2, 5 and 7) I will be needing this product for an upcoming trip we have planned. I have not taken it on a plane yet but I think it will be just what we need. We have a Safety First EverSlim Car Seat that fits perfectly inside. I did try out car seats from two other brands that we own to see how they worked out as well. One brand, the heaviest at 28 lbs, is shorter in depth as well as heavier which made it sit awkwardly in the bag and sag down pretty low. The other seat we have is a lightweight travel seat (10 lbs) and it worked great. It was easy to get the car seat in and out of the bag because it has a large zipper that makes a large opening. The bag has two handles, one at the top and one side handle to make it easier to move around and grab. I really appreciate these features as traveling with a car seat is really awkward. The bag has two adjustable backpack straps that you can tuck away and store inside of the bag and also a place for a bag ID in case it gets misplaced in bag check. As for fabric and durability it seems like it should last well through travel and bag check. Honestly it the feel of it does remind me a bit of my Christmas tree bag that seemed durable but ended up ripping so I'm hoping this holds up differently. First impression upon opening it, the back pack is very well made with sturdy fabric that will protect the car seat if you choose to check it. The handles on the top and the side are reinforced well to allow for easy pick up. I like that you can store the back pack handles away so they don't get caught and rip if you check the car seat, which has happened to me before with another brand. The back pack handles are also padded which is a nice touch, especially for some of those heavier car seats. The bottom of the bag has a piece of something possibly plastic to help the bag stay flat, in a good position while you load car seat into the bag. The zippers also slide easily and are well made. I was able to easily put the car seat into the bag and zip it in smoothly. The only downside for me is the bag was too small to fit our Chicco NextFit car seat. Overall this is an excellent product that I look forward to using with our smaller car seat for my toddler on our next vacation. I have used another brand of car seat backpack in the past for flying and it was no where near as durable as this one. I like the sleek design and black is also a good color choice. Our last bag was blue and got black stains on it from being checked, so the color is also a good choice. As a mom of two, I prefer to travel with my own car seat and this bag allows us to get it in and out of the airport hands free. I would recommend this product and I look forward to using it!

This car seat bag was a great new feature for our car seat. I received this bag as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel! We recently went to Disneyland and used this bag to actually fly out our car seat to California! It kept it safe and clean and we even stored items inside the bag with it too because of all of the space. We just have a standard size car seat and it fit great. It wasn't too bulky though! First of all, I appreciate the simple black design of the bag. There are no funky patterns or crazy colors. Sometimes (almost always), less is more. The bag was very simple to use and anyone can figure it out. It probably took me 30 seconds to fit my car seat in, zip it up and clip on the backpack straps. Our car seat is a Safety 1st convertible car seat and it is quite heavy. This bag is so well made that it didn't feel uncomfortably heavy to carry on my back as I expected that it would. I think my favorite part of this product is the fact that it is a versatile product that will last us a while. I can use it with our other car seats and it is nice to know that this bag is not only compatible with the Safety 1st brand.

I have nothing but good things to say about this travel car seat bag. It is very sturdy, yet not bulky. The material is high quality and durable. The bag is comfortable and is easy for me to carry with our full-size convertible car seat (I'm only 5'1). This will absolutely replace our previous, very expensive travel bag. It is very easy to use and will be very convenient for our next trip. I am currently storing our back up car seat in this bag to keep the seat clean in our garage. It fits each of our car seats (infant and convertible seats of varying brands, sizes and weights) and zips up comfortably. The straps fit well and the bag is also easy enough to carry via the top handle. Simple design, materials seem very sturdy and similar to other car seat travel bags which have lasted us several trips. My only wish for this bag is that it had more padding, and an option to make it more recognizable, like other colors or patterns.
