Received today and at first glance, very pleased with appearance. However, when I pulled out the cushion piece to try it out... I immediately felt the wooden "box" frame of the cushion cutting into the back of my thighs. The front of the cushion was horribly compressed/fabric wrinkled down to the frame. The cushion itself is cheaply stuffed and will NOT hold up to regular use/seating. There is no solid support piece beneath the seat itself - just the perimeter frame - so the padding sinks down to oblivion upon sitting. The outer frame squeaked when I sat down a 2nd time. For reference, I am female, 5'7", 140 lbs, size 6 but am certain I'd leave a permanent depression before long. Cushion/seat padding is of the lowest quality with zero support whatsoever. If you are simply looking for an accent piece to look "pretty" (and are not concerned with function), this is truly a lovely piece. Giving it 2 stars for appearance. Unfortunately, for $190, I expect a more durable cushion.

Got my Avila Tufted Back Counter Stool more than a month ago, got to say the installing was a bit confusing for me but manage to put it together, it's very comfortable and very stylish it gives my living room a totally different and chick look it definitely is an eye catcher when I have guess over. I must say I was quite disappointed with this chair. The instructions that came with the chair were so tiny that I almost needed a magnifying glass to read them, my husband and I had to figure out what piece went where. Also the majority of the screws that were included with the chair were all stripped. I honestly don't feel all that safe when sitting in the chair, I feel like the chair may fall apart. The Madison Park tufted back counter stool is a perfect furniture addition standing alongside my bar. I noticed how remarkably sturdy it was when a bigger sized friend came over and sat on it. She even asked if she could have it for her place. The only con I can mention is when I was putting the stool together, it seemed as if the wooden legs did not "fit" easily into the slots of the brace/brackets. I double checked the labeled pieces were correct and just tightened the bolts extra. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The Avila Counter Stool is made of good sturdy materials. The design of the stool is modern. I love the blue color of the Tufted back and seat. It's the perfect height for my breakfast bar. My only complaint is one of the legs is slightly higher then the others so the stool doesn't sit evenly. A nice comfy stool! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I received the Avila Tufted Back Counter Stool by Madison Park, and it’s beautiful. I love the fabric and color I chose fits perfectly with my furniture. To me, it’s just what a room needs to give it that extra something, that one piece that makes it stand out. I definitely plan on purchasing another for my daughters room as it would look lovely. Sits high with great back support, thick cushioning on bottom and back. Sturdy wood legs. You can rest your feet on the wood cross bar. I have it as an extra chair in my living room.
