About the Author

Begoña Oro Pradera nació en Zaragoza, España. Estudió Derecho en la universidad de Zaragoza, y se especializó en Literatura en la Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona, donde realizó un curso de posgrado en el IDEC.

Ha trabajado en el Grupo SM, a cargo de las colecciones juveniles Gran Angular, Alerta Roja, Club y Club de los clásicos, y como jefa del Departamento de Investigación y Comunicación.

Desde 2001, ha ejercido como consultora editorial freelance, editora, lectora profesional y traductora de literatura infantil y juvenil, y ha colaborado en la realización de planes lectores como Leer y más, Leer para crecer y Leotodo.

Ha publicado numerosos libros de literatura infantil, como la colección Letras con cuento. En el año 2011 se alzó con el Premio Gran Angular por su obra Pomelo y limón.
