Sammy Monsour, a Michelin award-winning chef and food activist, brings a rich culinary heritage rooting from his parent's neighborhood restaurant in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a third-generation chef, Sammy's restaurants in Boston and Los Angeles have earned acknowledgment and acclaim from James Beard Foundation, Eater National, and Zagat.

Kassady Wiggins, a seasoned beverage director and trailblazer in the craft cocktail scene, hails from Greenville, South Carolina. Influenced by her early exposure to organic farming and permaculture, she crafts Southern-inspired drinks that have been celebrated by Eater, Forbes, LA Weekly, LA Magazine, and LA Times.

i have never been able to sit down and READ a cookbook!! i am the type to look at the pictures, put aside, and refer later for one recipe or another a year later. this book, however, had me absolutely engrossed, and i am committed to reading it from cover to cover. the essays are something else, and the recipes are a testament to both Kassady's and Sammy's immense talents and excellence. the book itself is so beautifully made, photographed, and produced. there is clearly so much soul, love, and effort put into every single page!! i must add, this is the second copy i purchased: i loved everything about this book so much, i had to gift it to my mom. i'm sure she will adore it huge congratulations to you both! nothing to add but aWow 🤩

I was so pumped to receive my copy of Salt & Shore! This Cookbook is breath taking. The photography is immaculate. The recipes are creative and inspiring. I can’t wait to make these meals & drinks created by such talented and wonderful people. Sammy & Kass you rock!
