Saltair Santal Bloom Serum Deodorant - 5% AHA - 1.7 fl oz

Loved the smell. Other than that hate the product. It’s sticky, after two weeks did nothing for BO and worst of all it caused serious darkening of my armpits.

I was skeptical about this about product but wow it worked for me. The first use I did feel a little tingle but with AHA that’s normal. I did spot test this before applying to both armpits. After that first application and tingle I never had any issues. I’m post partum and my regular deodorant wasn’t working anymore. I’ve been looking for something to combat my new stinky armpits and wow this did not disappoint. After first use I saw the difference, absolutely no smell. It is like a serum so you have to let it dry with takes about a min or 2 but I can live with that. This is a must try. I highly recommend this!

Not for a heavy gym sweat, but the perfect product for everyday wear.

Tried something new with this, typically use Shea Moisture deodorant but the target I went to didn’t carry it. After two days of use, this left me a painful rash. Apart from that this goes on sticky and stays that way for most of the day.

It’s surprisingly effective for me and I live that I don’t have to worry about that white powdery mark on my dresses and blouses. Smells nice and works all day.

I’ve been on a deodorant journey for the past year and this is the first deodorant that is effective without a bothersome texture. I have used this for 4 days and have already noticed a huge improvement in both my underarm scent and reduction of ingrown hairs. When first applied, you have to wait 30 seconds or 1 minute for it to dry. It has a very slight tacky feel, but honestly I don’t even notice it. The scent is light, fresh, and agreeable to most people. Scent seems to last all day with mild sweating. I haven’t tried it with exercising or heavy sweating yet. Although it is pricey ($11.99), it’s totally worth it! For reference: I previously used Dove (antiperspirant and deodorant) which was effective but left a thick, waxy residue behind. I also used native deodorant, but this seemed to be ineffective (smelly within a few hours) and greasy/oily texture.

I love the liquid deodorant. It just glides right on. Lots of hydrating benefits just not a fan of the scent.

Smells so good but feels wet and tacky for too long, scent mostly disappears, and underarms just feel damp for hours after using i don’t think it works very well

This made my armpits sooo sticky and uncomfortable. The scent didn't last and gave me a rash. So bummed cuz I love all the other products.

This smells AMAZING but it’s so STICKY. I wanted so badly to love it. It’s the same scent as my hair oil but sadly, I just did not enjoy this product.

I have been searching for an EFFECTIVE non-aluminum deodorant for years. I have an inexpensive go to, but was in search of something more beneficial that would last at least an entire day. I think I may have found it! Even though the Saltair Serums are quite a bit more than my "go to", I feel like it's worth it. I will say, you have to bear in mind that these are roll on deodorants so you have to take into consideration that the serum in the container is prone to contamination. After my first bottle started smelling a tad funky when about halfway through it, I almost didn't give them a second chance. However, the product DID keep ME from being funky through a whole workday in Southern heat. I decided to try again, but this time I started to wipe the roller ball after each use. SUCCESS! I think I may have an earthier chemical make up than most, so many of the natural deodorants did not work for me at all or worked for a couple hours and entice my pits to emit pungent funk plumes that were embarrassingly abnormal. My process with the Saltair Serum is to wait until my underarms are completely dry after showering before swiping on a layer. I wipe the roller ball off completely before capping and proceed with my grooming and dress partiallly. A few minutes before I'm ready to put on a shirt, I apply another layer and let it dry before I finish dressing. Again, wiping the entire roller ball before putting the cap on. I have tried the Santal Bloom, Pink Beach, Green Grapefruit and ordered the Golden Hour and Salt Water Vanilla to try next. I wish that I'd ordered the Lush Green before it was discontinued. Santal Bloom has been my trusty fave, Pink Beach was effective but not for me. I expected the Grapefruit to make me smell a little musty, but surprisingly it works better than the Pink Beach. It would be great if the Saltair development team could come up with a solution to the content contamination issue and also create package refills for the elegant glass bottles that the serum is in. New bottles each time feels as wasteful as the serum I wipe off of the roller ball after every use. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

This is the main deodorant that helped me switch to ones without aluminum and other harsh chemicals!! Give yourself some time and your body time to adjust, it doesn’t happen overnight and my body feels so much better after making this jump! Also, I’m a very sweaty person, so this switch was nervous for me to make. Something that has helped me is rotating different types of natural deodorant so that my body doesn’t acclimate to one too much and I think this will help your change too

My first bottle worked amazing, then on my second bottle I started having itching, then turned into burning, which turned into a rash, hyperpigmentation and red bumps. Seems like I'm not the only one, either :(

I bought this in November 2024, it was good for a long while until late feb. It no longer keeps me smelling fresh for hours, I dont know if I used it so long that it just doesn't work anymore or what. But I enjoyed it till now.

I bought this Deodorant for my trip to jamaica thinking I'll have a nice scent. Not exactly. The Deodorant dries fast with no scent. It's very disappointing. I guess ill go back to using secret Deodorant.

I love it, I feel like every deodorant I've been trying I still smell, after a shower I put this on and when I wake up in the morning before work I put it on and I never smell Im obsessed!!!

This makes me sweat like CRAZY. Didn’t have this issue with any other deodorant before. It does smell good and keep the BO away. I just can’t handle the sweating.

I just want to preface this: IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO TRY A NATURAL DEODORANT, YOU MUST GIVE YOUR BODY A CHANCE TO DETOX FOR TWO WEEKS if you were previously using a regular deodorant!!! ALSO FOR MY DARK SKIN GIRLIES: I know some have claimed that they have struggled with dark pits due to using this product or other brands, but I do want to say, natural deodorants cannot darken underarms because they are not antiperspirants. However, some deodorants, including natural ones, can irritate the skin and cause inflammation, which can lead to darkening over time. So if it is causing irritation, I would recommend waiting to use this product at least 15-30 minutes after getting out the shower, especially after shaving to prevent irritation. Or even waiting till the next morning to apply. MY REVIEW: I’ve been steering away from aluminum deodorants, and deodorants with harmful ingredients. I started my journey into natural ones and made sure to give my body a chance to adapt after the two weeks timeframe. With that being said, I have had my share of problems with some of the bigger natural brands because they either didn’t last long and had me feeling very uncomfortable and insecure. Or they were too messy and clumpy, got all over my clothes, and caused irritation. I saw this brand and was intrigued as it is very different from the other brands, having the AHA ingredients to attack the bacteria that causes the smell was brilliant. I haven’t suffered from any irritation, it’s not messy and clumpy, and love that it is a recyclable glass bottle! Also love the fact that it smells absolutely amazing!! I am so so so impressed with this product and ingredients, they work incredibly well. I can go two days and not even smell! And love the Sandalwood smell. I purchased the whole set, body wash, deodorant, and body oil. Can’t wait to try the other sets! Im so happy and I can’t wait to continue purchasing from Saltair, a brand that I love, trust, and actually works!! Please don’t ever discontinue these products!!!! They have been a game changer for me and I’m so happy that I finally found something that works and keeps my skin healthy and happy!!
