  • A: Hi P - While the One Connect Cable included with The Frame TV is not in-wall rated, the One Connect Box and cable are both required for use with the TV. You can, however, place the One Connect Box and cable in a location that works best for your setup. The One Connect Box does not need to be in the remote's line of sight. ~ Samsung Specialist

I put it on the wall behind me, and people on Zoom calls usually think it's a real painting. I switch between the built-in artwork from Samsung and some AI-generated images, and it blends nicely with my other decorations. Setup was straightforward, didn't take long at all. It's also handy because I can switch it over to regular TV mode during lunch breaks or if something important is happening on the news. Good mix of decoration and practicality—definitely improves the office vibe. The 32" inch is the perfect size for an office wall decoration.

When you see a TV in a Retail store they always look great but then you take it home and it looks just OK but not this TV I am amazed how beautiful the picture quality looks. Only thing I didn't like about the TV is the wall mount it should be one piece with a leveler build into it. The paper instructions made a little easy but it would have save me more time if it was just a one piece wall mount. I still highly recommend this TV.

The TV slide exactly between two shelves without any modification or additional margin. The unit is older and the software runs slower than our newer 2023 75 Frame. But still gets the job done. Its flat, flush and the TV quality is good.

    Although I already have a Samsung account, the initialisation and setup was not smooth. The messages said this new TV would copy the settings/configuration settings from my previous 3 year old Samsung TV but this process failed. Also struggling to make Bixby work as I keep getting various error messages when I try to select settings (example "unable to change settings now. Check the power cord or connection status of the soundbar" - but there is no soundbar connected to it). Swapping between the various apps can be VERY slow.

    Tizen OS issues with DirectTV Stream

    Purchased the 32" Class The Frame TV and installed. Have yet to try out the art subscription, but that likely will happen soon! It's unfortunate that the One Connect cable for this model is not the same (it's quite large and not very flexible) as the other models which have the "invisible" cable. We managed to conceal the cable and the One Connect Mini box in an open wall niche, directly behind the TV as I did not want this visible. So far so good. A major complaint is not being able to sign-in to DirectTV Stream with the Tizen OS App downloaded from the App page for Samsung. The app installs, but does NOT let me login, with error Care Code 201. I have no problem signing into the DirectTV streaming app on other devices, including FireTV. Why doesn't the Tizen app for DirectTV stream provide a QR code to scan on your phone for immediate sign-in? It's only there for new subscribers. I am a long time DirectTV sat subscriber. The login credentialing on the Tizen app needs to be updated to include both DirectTV Stream (only) subscribers AND DirectTV Sat subscribers with (former) AT&T/DTV credentials.

    We recently had our kitchen remodeled and needed to replace a small television that my wife had used for morning and early evening news programming to stay abreast of events. The remodel required us to replace the TV and our consultant recommended a Frame TV. I had heard of them but didn't really know much. We purchased the Samsung 32" Frame Smart TV and mounted it on a kitchen wall along with framed prints that complements our new design. When the TV is not in use, we now have artwork from all over the world, including photography, some from the great masters such as Monet and Van Gogh and Elliott Erwitt and the archives from Life magazine in photography displayed. It has become a real conversation piece from the remodel and we enjoy it so much. The TV comes with an assortment of images of art but we "splurged" and paid a reasonable subscription fee for a year of a wide selection of images to be displayed. There are collections that can be based upon season or geography or specific museum collections and with one push of a button on the remote, you can read info about the pieces. The TV itself has a wonderful display and because it is a Smart TV we can stream from any of our services so I enjoy cooking even more while a favorite program is on. We really do love our Samsung Frame TV.

    This is an amazing TV in concept and in terms of the hardware, terribly handicapped by the software experience. It is unbelievably clunky and the process is outdated. Please - why waste such a good product handicapping it for the sake of a subscription model and substandard user experience? This could have been industry leading and a winner - what a shame! This is why you are still not an Apple - the user experience is just not there!

    Wife purchased this because she like the idea of the frame and artwork. It is the smaller unit and we use it in the kitchen. She complains about the sound quality. Maybe not an issue with the larger screen. She wanted to return it but had already trashed the box. Incredibly expensive for a 43 inch screen. Not worth the expense in my opinion. While the screen hangs on the wall it requires a small box which I assume is the TV logic. It replaced a cheap unit I had hung on the wall and I had an AC outlet there so there were no wires with the old setup. Be aware the screen requires the small external box. So while the TV is flat on the wall the control box sits on the kitchen counter and you need to attach a small gray cable to the screen. This is a major disadvantge to a standardTV which is just a little thicker. Sorry to write a negative review but you asked.

A full-sized One Connect Box and 5m One Invisible Connection Cable are both available starting with our 43" Frame TV and above. Regarding any audio dissatisfaction, there are several volume features you can enable/disable/adjust to your liking. – Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. – Adaptive Volume automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV.     I bought my TV a few months ago and have been extremely disappointed and frustrated. It take a long time to power on, often saying that I don’t have an internet connection and then, about 20 seconds later, connecting me. I did not want the art work feature and have not been able to turn it off.
