Not Happy!

I am not happy at all. I bought this TV on December 5th and I still cannot upload my own pictures to the TV. I have the Smart Things App and it is connected to the TV but won't upload my pictures. I have called and texted with Samsung several times and it is still not fixed. I would have given it a rating of no stars if I could have as the only reason I bought the frame TV was to be able to put my own pictures on it.

The TV although it's much larger than we are used to, it's not obtrusive, the screen is more of a matt finish which is anti glare. Such a clear picture We love the amount of artwork provided

I gifted my wife this last Christmas and she absolutely fell in love with it. She signed up to get all the featured paintings and she’s enjoying the fact that she can change it anytime she wants to. She’s been asking about the bezel that can go with it but I’ve been shopping around and I have been hearing so many bad reviews about. Like very bad quality, cheap quality, not sturdy so I am hesitant because even the customer service have bad reputations. Very sad to hear.
Can't access art mode via HDMI-CEC turn off

I initially purchased this TV because of its great art mode. Turns out I can't even make it work with my other devices. When you use the HDMI-CEC function to turn off your TV (using a remote other than the TV one), the TV turns off entirely instead of going into art mode like it should. This is a known issue for 2024 models. Older models don't have that issue. Don't recommend this TV on the basis of this missing feature as it defeats the whole purpose of having a frame TV.

Good Picture but Frustrating Otherwise

I bought a Frame TV about a year ago. The picture is great and so is the fact that it's flat on the wall without exposed cables. Unfortunately, that's about all I can say that's positive. The remote and user interface are really a challenge to work with. However, the most frustrating problem is the fact that it is not possible to keep the audio in sync on any content (antenna or streaming) when using the digital audio output (e.g. driving a sound bar). If you use the internal TV speakers everything's fine. This has nothing to do with the AV delay; the sound will gradually drift off by 20 seconds or more! The only way to re-sync the audio is to switch to another program and switch back.

RBinTX, Thank you for sharing your experience. To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download The Frame TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under Support (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select The Frame TV to download the guides you would like. The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into your TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support If hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a receiver, soundbar, or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay Our TVs have an audio Pass-Through feature, which allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external device then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay. On your TV, go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through Please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. If you’ve tried these steps and your issue persists, please contact us for troubleshooting and a Support agent will gladly assist. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Specialist

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the concept and the quality of the TV. Do not like how the frames work with the TV. We have a 65" and our neighbors whose TV we loved have an 85" and truly why we bought a new TV. They have SO many more options on the picture frame. If we had realize this we would not have bought this TV. Any chance you will be upgrading the frames on this TV in the future?

Good Art Mode; Bad at dark scenes.

If you are pursuing this TV for art mode then look no further, if you are looking for a great picture quality TV for watching in a dark room; look elsewhere. There is so many blotchy spots on the screen and bleeds from the corners. This is a known issue, Samsung may swap the panel but your next may be even worse.
1 reply from Samsung Specialist team - 21 days ago
Hi, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Frame TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting. Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings). For further assistance with settings adjustments, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. We only own Samsung tvs but this one has issues with the volume fluctuating on its own. The tv will flicker while watching If we keep the art on for too long.
1 reply from Samsung Specialist team - 21 days ago
LoveTVs, Thank you for sharing your experience with volume fluctuations. Please try the following which may help resolve this: 1. Turn off the Sound Sensor switch by using the button at the bottom of the TV, beneath the Samsung logo. With the TV on, you can push the button to the left to turn the sound sensor on or to the right to turn it off. 2. Try disabling some of the TV's intelligent functions, as these will automatically analyze and adjust your sound which may cause your volume to fluctuate. Go to Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings and select Intelligent Mode to turn off all the functions or select each option to turn it off. 3. Please also make sure your TV’s firmware is updated. You can check this by going to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update. I hope these tips help. Doesn’t sir flat to my wall. Our 45” one does but the 55” sits proud. The app for artwork is clunky and the shift to television is super slow. I do like the art work though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have enjoyed this Frame TV for a year now! Its been pretty awesome and I LOVE the way it looks in my living room. Only downfall that I find is we sometimes have issues connecting to the network (xfinity/comcast) It is always able to connect to the server but we find it sometimes has issues with the connection. Aside from this though we love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned many tvs in my life and thus TV simply checks all the boxes. Visitors always think ots actual art on the wall. No need to connect a streaming device because it comes packed already with all the apps. You can even connect a PS5 controller to it and play games. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this specific television for streaming and the ability to have it not look like a TV when not in use. It is perfection. I have it set to automatically change the pictures on the screen and the artwork is beautiful. I purchased a bevel to match the decor and it looks like a framed piece of artwork. It streams all of my favorite stations and is highly intuitive and simple to set up and use. I couldn't be happier.

Setting up the art mode was surprisingly easy and adds a touch of elegance to the room. We've received numerous compliments on how well it blends in, rather than being a large black rectangle dominating the space. It's a fantastic addition to our living room.
