the "view" part is just a hole in the case w/ no protection. the little rectangle opening is too small and annoying to use. i just open the phone to answer calls. the extra piece at the top and bottom of the case. my note 10+ s-view case didn't have the extra plastic at the top or bottom so swiping down to look at notifications was a breeze. the extra plastic at the bottom has also made it slight more difficult to access the stylus.

i really love the s view experience. it's nice, fun, and helpful, but first and foremost this is a phone case. it fails at being that. the rubber of the plastic bezel is cracking an peeling. the leather part of the case is tearing. the edges are frayed. it's really close to entirely falling apart at this point.

i have the white case. i started to notice that the inside of the case was becoming discolored, but upon closer inspection, i saw that a layer of the case is actually coming off. the material seems to be breaking down.

the cutout instead of a piece of plasitc is a down grade that provided no protection to the screen. the texture is worse feeling glossy touch feel. but the main issue is that the fold of the case is belowe the phone instead of to the side/atop the phone case. this gives it a weird feeling when holding the phone. i loved my sview cases on my s6 and s20 fe. i returned this one the next day

i bought my first over expensive clear view with spen last year of s21u, that was a thought less design. this cover 1) does not scratch screen guard. 2) not a dirt magnet canera remain clear. the cut out are clear and show important enough notifications. it could have been little cheaper

i've had s-view covers for the note 3, note 5, note 8, and note 20. they were all great. this one feels like cheap plastic, and it doesn't even have a clear window - it is literally just a hole cut out of the cover, which completely defeats the purpose. i'm totally unimpressed.

it does protect the phone and i like the cutout on the cover for the front of the phone. however, it cannot be used with a magnetic mount in the car (or with any mount) because of the cover. for these reasons it is useless to me and i'll have to get another nimbus9 case (which is great by the way).

i purchased a white flip cover on sunday the 6th of march. already, the bottom of the case is starting to become frail. it's white so i can understand that it's going to look dirty, but i'm starting to see the case become worn so quickly. it is a beautiful case but not something i would use as a daily case.

Here's what you get with the new s-view cover: You get rid of the plastic windows and replace them with a hole that does nothing to protect your screen (not to mention a big rectangular smudge on your screen allllll the time). You get rid of notification icons and replace them with just a fake notification led (remember that thing?) that tells you absolutely nothing. Is that an important text or the latest nonsense from twitter? You'll never know because all you get is a dot. I mean it feels ok, and it does provide some protection but don't waste your money on this sorry excuse for s-view. Do better Samsung. I know you can if you just try a little.
