I bought this watch a year ago and have used it 5 times because of it bad battery life, now it won't even charge and won't turn on. I called Samsung and they refused to fix because it's out of warranty. TBH, this is the worst purchase I have ever made, with all that money, it didn't even last me a year.

Thanks for reaching out to us, Abena. We really appreciate your feedback regarding the Galaxy Watch. If your watch will not power on, it doesn't seem to charge, or the light on the charger blinks, the problem could be anything from the battery, connection, the charger, or the watch itself. Products sold by Samsung are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the limited 12-month warranty period specified for each product. Poor battery, lousy bands

I bought this watch for the fall feature, and I think I'm really sorry. The battery sucks: it needs to be charged every day. If I were to activate more functions, it wouldn't last that long. I have a small wrist, so finding a watchband that would keep it snug was a challenge. I am not happy with this product.

Not impressed

So far my experience with this watch has been less than enjoyable. Most apps available for the watch through the app store don't work the way they should and the actual amount of useful apps is very very limited. I guess I didn't realize before buying the watch that 90% of my everyday apps like Facebook, twitter, my bank app, ect weren't available for the watch. Not impressed with the fact that I can't stream music through my watch, so far it's basically just a remote to control the music as it plays through your phone. Constanly have problems with the body mass measuring, it makes it to 67% and errors out saying i n3ed to move my watch further up my arm and no matter how far i move it or how tight i make it it doesnt ever seem to work correctly. Pretty much the only useful thing for me is the sleep tracking. Overall if I had the choice again I wouldn't have purchased the watch.

Battery life terrible of course

I've had this watch now for several years. I like the watch and it's classic look... But like everyone else has already said, the battery life is ridiculous. Can't go a full 24 hrs without charging it unless you barely use it. BTW Samsung: No need to suggest that I have settings wrong or am using it incorrectly. FACT...the battery life is terrible no matter how you Spin this. Your developers should have addressed this matter instead of trying to justify it

Greetings Batato, Thank you for finding the time out of your day to share your sentiments with us about your Samsung Galaxy Watch4. We appreciate your candor. There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. When enabled, this mode will limit several options in order to save battery life, such as Always On Display, Wi-Fi, and screen brightness. You can also turn on Watch only mode. No battery life at all

The battery life is non-existent. If I even use this for a few texts and one 15 minute walk a day, I have to charge it again in less than 24 hours. I can't use the features and definitely can't personalize it with photos (one of the main reasons I chose the Samsung watch). I tried and it died in hours. I had an Active 2 watch that I could use for everything and it would last days.

It seems like it was working great when I first got it. Now since the last major update, it has not been the same, its straight useless. Stops in the middle of timed workouts and keep dropping connection from another workout app that I use. Never ran into this problem before until now. Also the battery life is crap too even when using the so called battery saving features. I think it also cheats me out of daily steps sometimes. When this stops working I'm not getting anymore.

Hi Lady4588, Thanks for taking the time out of your hectic day to share your thoughts with us about your Samsung Galaxy Watch4. Your Samsung smart watch isn’t all cogs and gears - it’s wires, processors, data chips, and software! And just like with any other smart device, the watch's software and apps will need to be updated every so often. Luckily, you can update both whether you have a phone or not! Take a look at, "Update software and apps on your Samsung smart watch" when you have some available time to help resolve what you have described to be experiencing with your Galaxy Watch4, linked below. There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Also check out, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" and "Inaccurate steps on your Samsung smart watch" when you have the time to learn more about how to increase your watch's battery life and to help resolve your possible inaccurate step count. Feel free to contact Samsung Support afterwards if you have any questions or if you would like any further assistance. I bought this watching July of 2022. The battery last about 20 hours. But the worst part is the software. I can not install the software onto my phone. They changed the software it use to show the length of sleep and the various levels. Such as light, deep even rem. It is now called Samsung health but when I installed there was no way to connect to my watch. So I uninstalled now get message not compatible with my devices. I am not about to buy another phone . So will need to find a different watch.

The Galaxy Wearable app is the core for everything related to your Samsung smart watch. However, this app is only available on your phone, which means you need to connect your watch and phone together. Samsung watches are only compatible with certain Android and iOS phones - make sure your phone is compatible before you try setting up your watch. Loved my watch for a long time, less than 2 years later it will no longer power on. Per other sites there is or was a 2 year manufacturers warranty - per Samsung, its only one year. I purchased it in May 2022 and enjoyed it up until 6 weeks ago. Now it's just a paperweight. It will no longer power on and won't take a charge. Trying to determine if I stick with Samsung or move to a different brand - loved my watch.

Samsung Care+ is great for those unanticipated situations we sometimes find ourselves in, like forgetting your Watch4 in the seat of your taxi on your way to catch your flight, having your Watch4 stolen from your bag, getting caught in a rainstorm without your Water Lock feature engaged, to dropping your Watch4 and shattering the watch face. Terrible Recent Software Upgrade

The latest upgrade is terrible. In particular, Sleep mode frequently won't turn off. When it won't turn off, I have to turn the watch off and back on to get Sleep mode to stop. But then I have to reset the widgets to get then to work. Ether that or go to my phone and turn it on and back off in the Modes app. The Modes app shows it is off, although it is still on on the watch. There are other issues, but that is the one I'm dealing with again this morning.
