Completed the payments on this the other day. So far this is by far the best monitor I have ever owned. It feels like having three 17 inch monitors in front of me. I use it for productivity when getting work done. I have heard about flickers. But I have yet to see any. I'll be gaming on it soon (Black Ops 6 and Sparking Zero) I'll review it again if anything changes. But I feel confident that my experience will continue to get better and better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I mostly love this monitor! However, I encountered three problems: 1. The navigation JOG button broke and Reddit shows that this is common. It's fragile and it's just a terrible way to navigate in the first place (give us buttons or a remote!). No idea how to get this fixed so my monitor is never off. 2. My monitor came with either a 1cm long dead pixel or dust stuck behind the screen. 3. Glitchy when 2 ports are plugged in for dual monitor mode (PBP), such as struggling to wake up from sleep and knowing which is the main monitor (could be a Windows 11 thing, but very annoying).

If you are looking at wanting to do alot of text based work, and have a desire for 4K level text clarity then the monitor would disappoint. At less than 110ppi the text clarity is okay. Especially if you are used to higher text clarity.
Work and Play, this monitor does it all.

The first Odyssey monitor improved my whole desktop experience, i bought a second to run multi monitors. Work is a breeze multi tasking between all of the functions needed in a normal days work (email, internet, ERP application, remote desktop assistance, streaming media, it handles it all. It is a comfortable setup at 24-36" away as the curve on each panel gently curves around you. For gaming, the extra real estate that 5120x1440 resolution at 240Hz, you see enemies long before you are visible on their screens (usually 2560x1440 so extra 1280 pixels on each side of the image).

Really helpful for getting tasks done. Then when work is done, the high refresh rate and wide screen are super immersive for gaming. I’m only buying these super wides going forward! Countless videos and reviews over which brand had the best monitor for gaming and everything under the sun. Then it won the awards and I knew I had to have it. Saved every penny and then got a hold of one. From the moment it got turned on I was hooked!!!! Best display, amazing colors and the audio is immaculate.this monitor will last me about 3-5 years and then I'll buy the next level of this lineup.

Muti-window browsing has provided true muti-tasking with 3 windows side by side, colors look vibrant, and text looks sharp. There are a couple minor issues though. The monitor gets a little warm after a few minutes, 240hz refresh didn't work well with a DP cable so backed it to 120hz and no issues. Also the monitor had 1 dead pixel at the bottom of the screen but not too distracting. Bought on sale during black friday week at an excellent sale price.

My toddler son likes to play his games too, the large screen gives him an excellent viewpoint with no distortion of the images.

The smart monitor part allows me to watch streaming content including the channels from Samsung TV Plus. Have had this monitor for almost a year without any issues.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The external finish is ugly, a matte black with no quality, the edge of the monitor could be thinner, for the price paid it could have better quality. You need to have maximum High-brightness to get a vivid color. To work or play with vivid colors at 120HZ and have good colors, it needs to be configured with Brightness 100% Contrast 90% Sharpness 100%, this is terrible as it strains your eyes a lot more. The settings menu is not simple, when it is night you need to reduce the brightness so as not to hurt your eyes, you lose at least 5 minutes, There are 3 buttons with pre-settings that are very difficult to configure. I would not recommend this model to my friends, maybe there are better models from this brand but this one is not good.
