Alternatively, you could first transfer the photos onto your computer then copy thme onto the flash drive. Works great but the storage listed is a lie. It's marked as 256gb but it's only 240 gb when you actually open it up and plug it in

It works very well. 150 MB/s read (usually) and 40/70 MB/s write. Only problem is that is gets quite hot while running. Overall, 5 stars.

The hardware was great, although I didn't know I needed an OTG thing to connect it to my phone. The Sandisk app that goes with it did almost everything, except notice I had an add on memory card that needed to be included in the backup.

Not a snug fit with phone in protective covering. In fact, it doesn't stay connected at all. USB - C connector needs to be longer.

I love the software function of this device, however the mechanical slide does not lock into place. When I try to plug in either end, it slides back into the housing. I have to hold my thumb on the tab to get it plugged in properly. Very cheap design if you ask me. However, I love the app and it does an excellent job of copying and/or transferring files. I like the auto open app feature when it's plugged in.
