THE SANGEAN DIGITAL HAS A DEFECTIVE REMOTE AND PROVIDES NO IMMEDIATE VISIBLE SUPPORT

The Sangean RCR-20 model is a disappointment based on the following: 1—When attempting to manually set the time based on page 17 of the Operating Instructions, the instructions to rotate the tuning control to reach MANUAL on the digital display do NOT work ---- The MANUAL display NEVER appears as an option. 2—After eventually figuring out how to set the time despite the above instruction error, the time setting worked fine when I turned the radio on with the radio main power button---- However, when I turned on the radio with the remote control power button, the clock immediately loses 33 minutes EVERY time. After a dozen times of going through this Mickey Mouse mess of resetting the time display back to the correct time, I decided it was time to return the radio. 3—I searched every piece of paper, box label, small insert, etc., that came with the radio to find a customer support option to solve the above lost-time problem, but could not find a customer support phone number anywhere ---- You could have possibly saved this sale with such a simple support courtesy ---- 4—For the price point, the radio audio quality was barely equal to another clock radio that I purchased at half the price point of this Sangean unit ----
