Wasn't sure if it would work on rear wheels that bolt to the frame, but saw a video. Got it quickly- great service. Easy assembly, then put my 6KU Fixie in and it works great. Typical SARIS Quality.

I've only had this trainer a few months, so don't have a measure of its longevity; however, it feels very solid and I expect to outlast me. I'm not a big fan of trainers in general (I MUCH prefer to ride outside), so I don't intend to ride the trainer a great deal (bad weather, injury recovery, etc). So far, it's worked perfectly: smooth and quiet.

This is my second Saris trainer, the first one, an oil version, lasted 10+ years of almost daily use. This mag version has adjustable resistance and great for everyday training ... just love it and look forward to my daily spin!
Great price, does the basics ver well

I got this over a month ago, easy set-up, good price, well-built. Got it because fitness centers keep shutting down or when open are very limited capacity. Now I ride every other day with my own tunes or talk show coming thru some nice speakers instead of earbuds. Basic version of trainer, don't need to shift resistances when I ride, can just get off bike and do that.
Almost like the real thing!

I've had the trainer for about three weeks and am extremely pleased with my purchase. Although it does not replace a real road bike with varying riding conditions, it comes close.
There was a learning curve

Discovering the Saris Mag trainer couldn't have come at a better time, and in just a few short weeks has definitely transformed how I approach fitness in the winter. It wasn't too hard to set up, just give yourself some time and patience if you're a newbie like me. Riding fast and hard can feel a little unstable at times if you're used to heavy-duty stationary bike.
Simple to set up. Works great.

I purchased the Saris Mag trainer. It was very simple to set up, and can easily adjust to any of our bikes, road or mt. We were just looking for something simple so that we can ride through the cold months in VT and not have to go to the gym. For our simple use, it's perfect. It's a bit loud on the mt. bike tires. I suggest getting a smooth tire on the back if you care about the noise.
Great riding!

I replaced my old trainer with this one, and I am very happy. I don’t find it to be noisy. Fairly easy to set up, and provides plenty of resistance. Very good trainer for the price!
Simple, affordable, compact, local.

Product is reasonably priced, fits well into a small condo, efficient in that it works with a real bike (as opposed to a separate exercise bike), easy to put together, and so far seems very robust. It would be cool if there was a reasonably priced option to add an electrical generator to recharge electronic devices. I purchased as a gift and the recipient is very happy with it. Perfect for a holiday season limited by COVID. I have already recommended to a friend.

Picked this unit to match one I bought ~10 years ago. Love it and still use 3 times a week for 20 to 40 mins each use. Very easy assembly, bike attached w/o any mods to her bike. She hasn’t touched it! Yet.
Love it!

Had this for a long time (older model). It works (but I kind of wish it would stop so I can upgrade to a smart trainer).
Good affordable basic trainer

This is an affordable basic trainer that was given to me as a gift. I prefer to ride outside whenever possible, yet this trainer is a good substitute for the few times I am unable to do so. Were I to do a lot of indoor training I would upgrade a smart trainer.
Adequate Trainer

I bought this for my girlfriend who's only recently started training indoors. It's good enough for her but I'd prefer something that generates more resistance.
Great at the price point...does the job...

It is a great basic trainer and works flawlessly. You can add a speed sensor and cadence with a ANT+ dongle which is key and then you have a semi smart trainer.
Quiet and a great workout!

This was the first stationary trainer that I ever owned. It kept me moving in our winters so that I wasn't a total new on the hills every spring. I also put on the small wheel adapter so that I could do sprint efforts on my BMX race bike. If you are new to cycling and cost is an issue, choose this model.
