Saris Quick Release Fork Block Traps, Bike Fork Mount for Tracks

I bought this carrier for my 2007 Honda Element. I couldn't use my Saris Bones trunk carrier because of the lift gate and tail gate. Plus my vehicle had a spoiler, which made it hard for straps to be secure. The Saris Traps Triple Track bike carrier is by the the best one for my vehicle. I don't have to worry about anything sticking out the back of my vehicle. the best part is, after a long bike ride with friends, I can put my bike securely mounted on the triple track mounts and lock up my car and grab a beer or food with my fellow riders. I love this carrier! Living in Arizona, biking trails and road rides are endless, so its great to have the piece of mind that my bike is secure inside my locked vehicle. Plus I was born and raised in Wisconsin, so its only fitting that Saris is my go to for bike transportation.

I am super picky about my bike. I needed something stable for my road bike this product is great. Sits perfect in my SUV can change up fork mounts to add more bikes. can be bolted down if you so choose but seems stable on the indoor outdoor carpet in my Chevy Tahoe.

Road bikes remained stable without even a hint of movement during a 2,000+ mile road trip. It was unnessary to secure the rear wheel; the fork mount provided more than enough security.

Works as expected.

After driving bikes (up to our vacation spot three hours away) on a rear vehicle bike rack, I purchased two of these bike fork mounts. My wife and I each have a Co-Pilot WeeRide for our daughters attached to our bike. I had driven my trailer to carry our kayaks and was hoping to purchase a type of floor mounted rack that would be sturdy enough to roll our bikes into and strap them down. This works perfectly. While it is a little less convenient to have to take the front tires off, it is completely made up for the the stability of the bikes and the convenience of not having to remove the Co-Pilots each time we want to go somewhere. I drilled and mounted these directly onto the front angle iron of the trailer and it is seriously the sturdiest thing on the whole trailer. The other thing I loved is that it doesn't take up any floor space on the trailer, so I can use it for bikes or something else if I want to.

I have the Triple Track which came with a couple fork mounts. Over time I bought several more mounts. Added one to the Triple Track and used a couple others as mounts on my homemade bike rack. This mount is really flexible, capable of being used in many ways, many places. I like it better than a competitor's mount - more compact and I think, easier closure system.
