This water container comes in very handy for those situations. The container itself is extremely well made and sturdy. I like that there is two choices for an opening. A bigger size to put the water in the container and a smaller size opening to pour the water you need out. When I did first get the container it did have a strong plastic scent. I just had to rinse it out a few times and it was good to go. Overall this is a great water container to have on hand if you camp or want to have just in case of an emergency where safe drinking water may not be readily available.

Gave this a shot and seems to work really well. Solid material and well made seals. Went from single gallon jugs to 5 gallons. Noticed a little awkwardness when dispensing at first due the weight, but so much nicer not having multiple jugs. Thought about adding a second one for longer trips. Well done!

We use this to fill with water from home and take camping with us. We have a camper that has water hook-up, however, the water smell horrible! So, we won't drink the water from the campground. So, we fill the container and pour our drinks, make coffee, and give the dog water from this. We love that it's BPA Free. Huge plus! The pour-able spout on the lit is a nice touch too. Being a 5 gallon container, it is a bit heavy to pour when it's full so the spout really helps!

We have a fairly large boat and my grandkids absolutely loves swimming but the one great thing was we had the scepter water container and I'm very hot days no matter how much you swim you still dehydrate even in water and it was ice cold this scepter is extremely durable we had drinks all day long ice cold water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great water container for going off reading with, it's large enough that you can share with the group or family, it has a large twist opening to make it easy to fill, then it has a little twist off opening to pour out and a small twist cap to let air in and I like the sand brown look too, it isn't to hard to clean out with the large opening too
