These used to be the best, the white part of the razor (the gel?) used to last a lot longer, didn’t need soap to shave my legs. Now the gel part doesn’t last very long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always trying new razors to see which one has the best feel or the smoothest feel. This product ranks in my top 5. I typically shave my face right before I shower. I put a little water on and this product shaves easily without leaving any bums or scratches. I used it for a solid 2 weeks with no issues.

These used to be one of the best razors. Now, the razors themselves are indented below the top and bottom pieces, so you can not get a close shave unless you push down and repeatedly try to go over the same spot. The razors should not be indented down below the top and bottom pieces, it's like essentially using clippers with a guard on them - people are using razors for a close shave, not a trim. Maybe I got a defective batch? Idk, but the price of razors is pretty ridiculous to begin with, they should be manufactured to work properly.

I use it for my legs. Works better than women’s razors

I've used these razors for years and I keep coming back to them. I like that they're for sensitive skin as I have sensitive skin. I do think they do a good job in that area. I like the quality of the razors. I feel like it lasts a while before it gets dull. If you leave it in the shower and let it get wet every time you shower, it can start to rust a little, but I started keeping mine in a dry spot when not in use and don't have the problem anymore.

Not at all what they used to be. Been using these razors for years but unfortunately I'm going to have to switch brands. The blade itself isn't sharp which leaves me going over the same area 3-4 times (causing razor burn). I guess along with the "new look" came a more cheaply made product.

I found that if I remove the trimmer these fit on my women’s Shick Quattro razor. It’s a shame that Shick charges more for for women’s razor refills.

I miss the original Hydro 5 blade refills. The new sensitive skin refills are terrible. Not nearly as close a shave as the originals and I now get terrible razor burn. The blades do not last nearly as long either. But I guess that’s the trendy thing to do now…..price goes up and quality goes down. Terribly disappointed. May have to go back to Gillette.

I’m a female in my 20s w/ super sensitive skin. This is the only razor in my ENTIRE LIFE that has not give me ANY razor burn, and I rarely knick myself. I have used this everywhere on my body, and I get a really close shave without irritation. I can shave an hour before going to my bf’s and not worry about embarrassing redness anymore!!! I use this with: —Gillette Satin Care sensitive skin shave gel (inexpensive & life-changing) After shaving, I put on: —unscented aloe vera gel —CeraVe moisturizing cream Between shaves, I use: —Eucerin Roughness Relief lotion on my legs daily. It has urea, AHA, and ceramides (gently exfoliates to soften skin, prevent ingrowns, reduce redness, and fade scars/marks) —2.5% benzoyl peroxide gel on my bikini area (exfoliates, reduces redness, helps prevent ingrown hairs) —CeraVe moisturizing cream everywhere other than legs I only shave once per week. I’m more prone to razor burn with frequent shaving and if I’m shaving stubble/very short hair. I swear by this routine! Hope it helps someone else
