The ability to extend the bolt length was a necessary addition for our particular door. It was on the expensive side, but I am fully happy with my purchase.

I was surprised to learn that there were almost no options. I was also relieved when I found that Schlage had a solution. The quality of this deadbolt is an aesthetic upgrade, easy to use, and best of all, easy to install even in a 100+ year old front door. I already know that the quality is excellent from other Schlage products I have in the house. I am happy to recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Single cylinder deadbolt lock. No handle. Simple to attach to the door. Not as easy securing to the door jamb, though. Needed chisel to cut a groove for the strike plate. Otherwise, the door would not close.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It could have been a four star but the handle comes off when you pull the door. There is a spring mechanism that keeps the handle in place and it’s convenient when putting the screws on but it does not hold the handle well.
