Now I can work in my office with the peace of mind that only my clients can enter as needed. I don’t have to interrupt my work to open the door or worry that a stranger will come in while I’m working alone. I also love that I can see from the app if someone were to access the door while I’m away.

Video animation instructions plus a well written manual! The parts are solid, the other brand the internal parts were defective despite having to get a replacement Has a backup key too. Easy to program I am a Schlage fan for life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our son is autistic and a keyed lock was hard for him. Losing the key was a worrie we had but this lock is easy to use and easy to set up. We can see on our phones when the door is unlocked and can even lock/unlock it while away. Setting up a one use code makes it nice for when the sitter comes to check on our puppy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the deadbolt Wi-Fi Schlage on one of our rental units already. It works flawlessly. I just added this new Wi-Fi lock to my Airbnb where I have constant different tenants. Each tenant gets their own code and I can set their code as to when it starts working and when it stops. It also notifies me when ever someone uses a code and who's code it was. I can also remotely lock and unlock from anywhere I am using my phone app. Best investment I've ever made for security and piece of mind.

Installation is really easy and goes like a breeze. Too bad it doesn’t support Apple HomeKit integration, I got frustrated with that missing functionality in an otherwise dependable product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To use the app I had to create a PIN code. There is an issue with this. The PIN code is attached to my cell phone and not the Schlage lock. Therefore I have to put the PIN code in every time I open my phone for any reason. This is very frustrating. The PIN should be attached to only the lock as my alarm system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the easiest lock to install when I expected it to be fairly complicated given the technology. The initial virtual set up was very intuitive, but I’d say for the additional things you can set up and do with it is probably not as intuitive if you’re not overly familiar with technology (I stumbled upon some of its capabilities by accident, but those were super helpful to know existed). I love the ability to assign multiple codes which prevents the need for copies of keys. I will definitely buy more of these as I change out deadbolts and other doors and handles/locks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the Schlage Encode Smart Wi-Fi lever on the back door and a Schlage Encode Deadbolt Smart Wi-Fi unit on the front door. I live in a split foyer house and the wife and I were constantly having to go down steps at night before we went to bed to see if they were locked and now I can do it from the app on my phone which is super handy also when we get home with a load of groceries we can unlock the door before we even leave the car. I'm also going to add one to me walk in garage door.

It is so convenient to use and allows me to give a code to my daughter who lives in another state as well as my son, so they can get in the house if I’m not here. As an older person it provides peace of mind if something happens and they need to get into my house without having to find a key.
