[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a larger diameter brass knob. This knob is what I wanted. This is the most used door in my home. There is no plastic pieces to fail.
Nice style but not a single screwdriver install…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are doing the alternative install it’s more than a few minutes to install and needs more than the suggested single screwdriver. You will need two kinds of screwdrivers, a hammer and a block of wood. But I like the style and feel of the product and it looks nice and durable to take lots of use. On one last note the lock emergency release hole is described as a discrete pin hole but is a bit more than that but not unbearable.

I've used every brand and off brand of door knob and lock sets out there and I have to say the Schlage is the most well thought out, most durable over time, and best looking of the knobs in their class. Period. By the way this new satin brass finish is hugely popular here on and around Cape Cod where I work.
