The horse is gorgeous, the calf is nice, but the other three aren't as great. The cat's eyes look weird and the goose included is a European goose not a Canadian goose like is most common in North America. It's understandable as Schleich is a German company. But this was the best set out of the others available. Ideally, I wanted a set of this horse, holstein cow, rooster, sheep, pig, and one of the other cats. It was less expensive to get a set than buy the individual ones I wanted so I settled for this. But be warned the cat's eyes look creepy. I thought it would be better in person but it's not.

I was disappointed with this assorted farm world animal bundle. I wanted to love it, and was so excited to see a black and white Border Collie figure included (our family has always had a black and white Border Collie in the family, so this felt extra special). While the toys themselves were typical Schleich quality and very lovely, the scale of the animals was off. The Border Collie, calf, and foal all seemed fine. But the cat was slightly larger than the dog and the goose was nearly as tall as the foal, towering over the dog and calf. Considering Schleich's usual attention to detail, this one was disappointing.

I bought 5 animals ..one for each grandchild. They liked them so much that I bought more and now have 36! They are Mimi’s animals that I keep in a big bag and whenever the grandkids come over, this is their special bag to open. Very educational. We talk about each animal, count them, group them, discuss how they interact, lots of imaginative play with them.
