The tape itself is better than the other scotch brand packing tapes. Sometimes one roll will stick and hold better than another roll (both the same brand box lock and both purchased from you). Also, it can be horrible trying to keep it from sticking to itself while using after tearing. Can be a real pain. But the reason for the one star rating is because overnight you raised the price by exactly $2.50. Just disgusted. I’ve been buying this since you started carrying it online and the price has never changed. I’ve bought several of these from you.

It actually works. I have tried other Scott tape like heavy duty and moving tape but this actually works every time. Other versions have needed several layers to make my packages secure less they loose their grip but this is truly one piece and the job is done. None of my clients have ever complained the box wasn't secure when they got the items I shipped to them. It's almost like insuring the package will arrive sealed

My car was broken into, and I had a 5.5 hour drive back home without a driver's front window. I wanted to make the drive back with a barrier in case there was bad weather, etc, but wanted something that would not obstruct my vision. I used this tape to make a make-shift window. I drove 70+mph home and through rain, and this tape held up the entire way. I was so grateful Scotch made this excellent product. It made a stressful situation much better. Very durable and definitely kept the promise to stay sealed!

I have used this tape for a long while. After using other name brands that don't stick well, I tried Scotch box lock, LOVE IT!! It sticks really well to my shipping boxes and is very strong! I won't use any other brand, just scotch box lock tape!

Very smooth and easy to rip off a piece. Doesn’t stick to the plastic part of the dispenser like the others do. Adheres to boxes very well. Definitely will be stocking up on this.

This box lock tape truly is amazing. I never needed to use more than one strip of tape to keep a box closed. A huge improvement over the old tape I used.

My favorite thing about this tape is the complete silence when pulling the tape out. It is silent. No horribly loud sound. None. It is also super sticky and works great! I have a small business and will only use this stuff to ship from now on. I didn't get it free like most of these reviews btw.

It's also doesn't seem as prone to sticking to itself, which is a nice feature when you're attaching a return label to a box, i.e. the tape doesn't wrinkle and obstruct the text on the label. I received this product from 3M as a sample to review.

The tape itself is the best I’ve ever used and will definitely be buying again. The little dispenser however, has room for improvement. I’ve never liked those mini dispensers because they tend to be awkward and pop apart while using. Maybe a size in between the mini and the large tape gun would find an audience.

It always sticks together, peels unevenly, and makes a mess. Not this tape. The Scotch Box Lock Packaging Tape is amazing. It peels evenly, it holds securely, and the included plastic holder makes it easy to delineate where the end is and tear the tape when necessary. I love it.
