"Long-lasting?" No, they're not!! Within a week of moderate use, the pads disintegrate and break apart in the sink. Unless you use a paper towel to clean them up, all of the pieces go into the drain. Don't waste your money.

I didn't realize until writing this that the pads are labeled as copper "coated" pads.!?! Really? Typical American corporation making cheap products that look like the former quality product. Deceptive marketing and some bullcrap reviews. Tell me, is it still that much cheaper than chore boys REAL pure copper sponges after you procure cheap metal and electro plate it with copper? Can it really be worth the trouble the lies and your reputation

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Don't waste your money, spend the extra on chore boy solid copper scrubbers. These started to fall apart during the first use and the copper started coming off leaving a red mess on my pan. I thought Scotchbrite was a quality brand which is why I purchased these but never again. I guess you can't trust brand names anymore.

Waste of money. You will need to replace it within the first couple of uses. It starts breaking apart easily.

I used to buy Scotch-Brite copper scrubbing pads regularly, but I haven't see them available for a time. When I purchased them in the past year I was looking forward to using them again. I was disappointed to see my soapy water turning brown the first time I used them. Upon examining the package I noticed on the back (in white print on the cellophane) this warning - "Due to the nature of this item, rusting will occur." Also I believe that because the product is now labeled as "Copper Coated Scrubbing Pads" the copper rubs off after one use. I've tried drying them completely in an aerated plastic holder. I've even tried putting them in the dishwasher. Obviously the pads are now made of of a cheaper material and coated with "copper" which wears off when the pad is used to scrub on its first use! I use metal scrubbers on my stainless steel and cast iron cookware. I will definitely switch to stainless steel scrubbing pads, but I'll be sure to read the package clearly to ensure that the pads are not coated. I do not recommend buying this product.

Honestly wish I read these other reviews while I was in the store. Don’t even like reviewing things but had to create an account just to be a Karen for this LOL. AVOID AT ALL COST. The copper comes off so easily and stains the sink and it’s not very durable. 0/10 product.

Terrible quality. They stain my sink and leave a rusty looking film wherever it touches. One of them broke apart within a few days of use! Maybe I got a defective pack. Will not purchase again.

These pads are copper COATED., not 100% copper. Also very brittle!! So brittle where every time they rubbed on something rough, little shards would break off. This is so hazardous! Additionally, left brown residue in its wake. Returning asap!

I want to give negative 5 stars, but that is not an option. Bought this based on brand name, but it disintegrated in less than a week. Even dollar store brands last longer than this. Shakedown my confidence on Scotch-Brite and 3M both.

I bought this and used few times to clean my cast iron skillet. I just realized it drops tiny copper pieces everywhere, and it is horrible. If I was not careful enough, it could end up in food. I thought maybe I can rinse it off, maybe dust copper from the factory or something, so I tried to spray with water, merged into a bowl of water, but I cannot get every piece off. It is not safe to use any cooking pans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very OCD and a complete neat freak. I have used many different brands of scouring pads, but these are always the best and I won't buy anything different. They don't fall apart, the deep clean I get is spectacular and I can reuse it often. Their is nothing better and I even got my brothers wife to fall in love with them too. Definitely recommend these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a stainless steel pot that I use to brew tea for iced tea. It quickly goes from shiny to covered with dark tea stains that don't come off with a regular sponge. aevery few weeks, I have to scrub it with steel wool to restore the finish. I hate doing this. The steel wool always breaks apart quickly and the little fibers scratch up my hands. Each steel wool scouring pad only lasts one time before it falls apart. These Scotch-Brite copper coated scouring pads are a complete game changer. I was shocked at how quickly they removed all the tea residue. And even more shockingly, the pad looks as good as new after scouring my pot. I will be able to re-use these over and over again making them an incredible value. The best part is there were no sharp fibers so I didn't scratch up my hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these to cleanup some old baking sheets and am very impressed by the results. Old gooey grim and burn marks have almost been entirely removed. I have been hesitant to use these on cast iron as they may be too strong.
