Q: No instructions came with lamp. How do I put it together and how do I replace bulb if needed? I inserted inclosed bulb and plugged it in and turned it on, however, does not seem to light up.

A: bulb was inside the light in a white box. bulbs can are commonly found at dollar through big homes stores. they are nightlight bulbs. I pinched the two wires on the side of the bulbs.

You must have received a Large Beautiful Sea Shell Lamp with wood base attached, if you flip the lamp you will see a round hole on the bottom of the wood base. Also you must have received a Dimmer Cord, please screw the included bulb into the Dimmer Cord, then hold the Stainless Steel Springs and insert the Bulb and the Springs inside the hole as far as they can go up. Once it reaches it's maximum height, let go and the springs will hold the bulb into place. Then plug the cord into the wall, and turn the dimmer on to enjoy your lamp. Please only use a 15 watt bulb with the Lamp, otherwise it will fuse the dimmer cord as a safety hazard also when possible ensure that you plug the dimmer cord into a surge protector and the surge protector into the wall plug, this will ensure longevity of your Bulb as well as Dimmer cord.

this light is substantial. much higher than the sphere light made by the same company. flat on one side, so I placed it against a wall. i like these lamps for night. i leave them on 24/7. My bill for electric has been super low since I started using salt lamps. the small bulb only takes a small amount of power. thank you target for making fragile so the shipper would not break it. these look very good in my home!
