If the wiring in your home is configured for a dimmable light fixture, then this product will work with it. The switch in your home needs to be a dimmer switch. Q: what is the maximum length of the chain? I have a 17 ft ceiling and need the chain to come down at least 7 ft.
A: Hello Peggy - Great question! The chain itself (not counting the height of the chandelier) is 8ft long. The whole product will be able to extend further down than your needed 7ft.
