Q: Hi i would like to know the distance between the far left side of the tv stand and the end of the middle shelf. In the picture its where the books are. I want to know the length of the gap that fills that space.

Q: is 60" that top shelf/platform or is it the base? I would assume it is that top platform because a 65" tv is about 58" wide (because TVs are measured diagonally). how long is the top shelf/platform and how long is the base?
