Author Connie Queen is a master at sharing red herrings! I thought I had this mystery figured out but was I ever wrong! Searching for Justice is a fast-paced story with multi-faceted characters, a 16-year-old cold case, and the best K-9 partner ever. You don't often read about a Saint Bernard being a valued part of a Search and Rescue Unit but Fergie is a perfect partner for K-9 handler Brynne Taylor. I loved the human element that's so important in this story. Brynne and Jase Jackson once dreamed of a future together and Brynne still experiences guilt over her foster sister's death. Searching for Justice is a thrilling story with danger, romance, and the reminder that the past doesn't have to define your future. There are also several surprises and a fantastic epilogue! I recommend this book to all who enjoy romantic Christian suspense. I received a copy from the author and publisher. There was no obligation for a positive review.
