Had lunch at the Seattle's best coffee outlet at Manila airport T3. Food was great, but I had to eat on a paper bag since they did not serve food with a plate.

In general Seattle's Best is neck and neck with Paul Newman's for my favorite brand, and it offers more varieties that Newman's and is occasionally on sale too (which Newman's never is). I usually don't buy breakfast coffees as I find them too weak-bodied, but this week I ran across a half-price sale on SB's breakfast blend and grabbed every box they had. I hadn't tried it before, but I'm very pleased. Although it's weak in the sense that a breakfast blend isn't supposed to be a jolt of electricity, it still offers satisfying body -- which shows that strength and body are two different things. I'm so glad I ran across that sale!

Honestly, this was the worst coffee I have ever bought. I tried it for two days and threw away the rest. It's gross in taste and aftertaste. Not worth a 1$.

Have bought the Breakfast Blend a few times and while the taste is good, the beans are ground too fine. We use a Cuisinart Drip coffee maker and have found that when the water drops onto the grinds, some of the coffee grinds splash up and are deposited in the brewed coffee. Would strongly suggest that consideration be given to grind slightly courser to eliminate this issue.
