A: Yes, there's no scent. I've been using for years and it's the only anti-perspirant I've used that keeps you dry and doesn't cause any irritation.

In some products like bar soaps, these natural ingredients do not smell pleasant so it is necessary to add a very small amount of light fragrance to make the product more enjoyable to use. Fragrance free products will not contain a scent.

Q: Is there fragrance free clinical or is this as close as it gets? I see Secret replied to reviews/Qs stating the dif btwn Unscented and Fragrance Free, but the Free & Sensitive also lists fragrance.

A: Thank you Kate for your questions. The Free and Sensitive is unscented and yes it will have a light fragrance to it. The free in this product means that it is free of parabens, dyes and good for sensitive skin. I do apologize we do not have a Clinical Strength that is fragrance free.

A: I prefer applying the deoderant after my shower in the morning becuse I feel cleaner doing that. I have never had an oder or sweating issue doing it this way.

I think the marketing for this deodorant is pretty misleading. I was looking for something unscented or at least less fragranced, but this is just as scented as their other deodorants. I don’t have especially sensitive skin and use the Secret clinical strength clear gel without an issue, but this “free and sensitive” deodorant made my armpits very itchy.

After about 3 days of use my underarms began feeling painful to the touch, burning, and tender. There was redness and they felt damp and uncomfortable. I immediately stopped using this product and it’s improved. Although I have sensitive skin, it was definitely this product that caused me to have a rash. Do not buy.

I used this for about a week and noticed a difference in terms of not feeling wet in my armpits. However, after a couple uses I noticed a slight itchy feeling in both armpits and then eventually developed a rash a few days later. I’m really disappointed to have to discontinue it.

I have never had a reaction to a deodorant until this one. I literally had to use zinc butt cream and hydrocortisone on my underarms after using this 2 times because my underarms were so angry. Also, it has a frangrance…which I assumed it didn’t because it’s called free and sensitive!

This is ridiculous. Usually I check the ingredients on the items I buy, but in-store a lot of stores have the deodorants locked up so I didn’t get a chance to comparison-shop. But excuse me for expecting “free & sensitive” to be unscented like every other freakin’ brand out there that makes a “free & clear” or “sensitive skin” product. Most insultingly, this “free & sensitive” version costs more than the regular ones from the same product line! I was annoyed but thought it would be worth it for not scent. Little did I know, until I brought it home, that it would be baby powder scented! Yuck! And shame on you, Secret!!

The texture isn’t irritating. However, I am feeling like I still stink with it. However, I’ve only used it 3 days, so I will finish it to see if that changes. Don’t buy if you want something with immediate results.

In our testing, we've found that for many people, it can take up to two weeks for Secret Clinical Strength to start working well for them. To increase the effectiveness of the product apply it every morning to dry, clean underarms. If you shower in the evening, apply after you shower as well. Also, apply 2-3 swipes under each arm and ensure that the deodorant has applied evenly. Do not buy this deodorant! They have changed the formula which irritated my skin and have added a scent. Consumers who buy items that are "FREE & SENSITIVE" that were previously unscented, DO NOT WANT ITEMS THAT HAVE A SCENT! The new formula irritates my skin and you reek of deodorant all day which irritated my sinuses. Go back to your old formula!
