As a 45 year old woman in perimenopause, body odor is a constant anxiety. This Secret body wash delivered on it's promise of odor protection. I used it the night before tackling both bathrooms in my house and unknowingly put this stuff to the test - I forgot to put deodorant on! I cleaned for about 3 hours and after working up a sweat noticed that I was not as stinky as expected, and actually still felt pretty clean. It was at this moment that I realized just how good this body wash was at preventing stink - no deodorant, hours of cleaning + sweating, and I hadn't stunk my husband out of the house! WIN! In terms of the wash itself, the scent is definitley as described - 'fresh and clean' - and though it wouldn't be my first choice, it was still nice and clean. The lather is great and very sudsy and soft and rinses well (no icky residue). All in all, I'm impressed and would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical at first about (A) whole body deo in general (B) incorporating that concept into a body wash, and (C) that body wash actually being effective enough to really replace a separate deodorant product. My skepticism quickly subsided with the use of this body wash (preceded by the use of the accompanying whole body cream deo). The scent is refreshing, clean, and gender neutral. I was afraid to even try to abandon my deodorant to test the claims of the body wash, but I did. And not a hint existed that would indicate I had gone 24 hours without deodorant application. I relied exclusively on the body wash and it worked great I did receive this product for free for testing purposes, but I am totally purchasing more when my free testing bottle runs out, as coming 2 personal care items into one saves money, space, and is environmentally responsible. I would highly recommend this product!
